Britax Willow S Infant Car Seat With Alpine Base — Graphite Onyx

This car seat is phenomenal! It is so lightweight, easy to install without anchors, silky fabric for baby, has a leveler, is very secure, cushioned, and easy to use. I like that it has a seat belt tightening device so you don’t need an anchor for the base. The fabric is amazingly comfortable and cushioned for baby. The part people struggle with which I did at first but knew there had to be another button to release the seat was taking it out of the base. You pull the forward one behind the baby’s head and the push the one by the grey foot bar and it will come right out with ease. It was well worth what I paid and I did a lot of research on car seats and am really happy with my purchase. Other plus is it fits perfectly in the chick strollers. I didn’t have to purchase a new stroller. Don’t listen to other reviews purchase if and I promise you will be very satisfied.

My baby is not born yet, so I can't 100% review the car seat yet, but I couldn't wait to mention the impressiveness of the base! The car seat, however, does seem like really nice quality already. The BASE though; the click tight technology is extremely effective and will NOT even budge a cm (which is what you want). I put it in my van middle seat which doesn't have latches, so I used the seatbelt, and it is SO stable. I was so worried about where to place our car seats (we have another convertible rear facing for our first child), but now I knew it was part of God's plan that we bought this car seat because without the click tight technology, I would not feel so safe putting it in this seat. This keeps the other outside seat open for passengers. One other thing is that the manufacturing date was already pretty old by the time I received my car seat (still valid, but will expire sooner than I'd like, as I hoped to use this for future children), so I messaged the seller, and they offered a return or partial refund. So, there was great customer support from them. Hopefully the car seat itself is as good as everything else!

10 month update!!! We’ve had some issues getting this out of the base off and on. I thought it was due to weather changes but now it’s just completely stuck. I can’t even get one side out. I’m not sure what else to do besides keep trying to pull on the lever and wiggling it around. Bought this for baby #2 and love it already! The base DOES NOT MOVE at all once buckled in which I LOVE. I even had my husband yanking on it to see if he could move it, and he can’t! I’ve seen a lot of people complain about the car seat moving while in the base & I was worried about that! Upon further research, I found that that’s actually normal for most car seats! I’m not sure why, I assumed because it helps absorb some of the shock if you’re in a car crash. But I’m not an expert.

I regret buying this! Let me start by saying, I have a larger Britax for my oldest and I respect the BOB brand. However, I replaced my MesaMax with this, based on the safety reviews for the willow S. This sucker is a PAIN to click and unclick. It has to be a manufacturers error! I re-installed this on the side of the interstate because it would not stop shaking. I’m never 100% sure that it’s clicked in all the way. Then when you go to pull it out, it jams. I’ve left the seat in the car and pulled out baby. No, I wouldn’t recommend it. Update: regarding replacing defective product - Britax has pointed me to amazon, amazon has pointed me to Britax.

I chose the Britax Willow S because of its excellent safety reviews, and it definitely lives up to the hype. It feels incredibly secure and well-built, with a sleek and modern design. Installation was super straightforward, and it’s so easy to click in and out of the base. Most importantly, our little one looks comfortable and safe every time we buckle them in. Highly recommend for peace of mind and everyday convenience!

We did tons of research and decided to order this one as it was also compatible with our Mockingbird Stroller but was not expecting for it to stand out so much (in all the positive ways!) The base was easy to install & probably my husbands favorite part. It’s definitely nicer than our old Evenflo litemax yet still sturdy and not super bulky. In complimenting it with our stroller, it feels like a true upgrade! And baby seems extra comfy so it’s an overall 🥇

I had the uppababy aria with my first baby and he hated it and we upgraded him to a Britax convertible and we’ve loved the brand since. The base installs snug and is simple to install. And my baby gets a good fit and I love the head pillow and how it allows my baby to move his head around freely and doesn’t cause chin to chest. My only complaint is I don’t really like the infant cushion. Love the materials of their car seats. And so far my baby loves it and it’s bougie looking without the price tag. Bonus if you have an uppababy vista stroller this car seat is compatible with the stroller with the nuna/maxi cosi adapters.

Our newborn screamed in her car seat, from the moment we put her in until she was taken out. I researched and found this one (we use their convertible car seat for our toddler) and the crying has improved so much!!! She still fusses sometimes, but now she is more comfortable with the padding. This car seat is easy to adjust while she’s buckled in to help with comfort. Very stable when out of the base — she will sit in it during our library activities and snoozes! It also clicks into our evenflo travel system stroller!!! I love the look of the gray padding, it is a sleek look for comfort and stability.
