Great add on for travel!
I travel frequently for both work and personal trips, and the Osprey Ultralight Collapsible Stuff Pack has quickly become one of those “why didn’t I buy this sooner?” travel essentials. It folds down incredibly small in my luggage, yet once unpacked it’s surprisingly comfortable and capable for day trips, airport carry-ons, excursions, and even grocery runs while traveling. What impressed me most is how lightweight it is without feeling flimsy. The material feels durable enough for real-world use, and the shoulder straps are far more comfortable than I expected from a pack this compact. I’ve carried water bottles, souvenirs, snacks, a light jacket, and electronics with no issues at all. The zippers are smooth, the stitching looks solid, and overall it feels like a thoughtfully designed product from a brand that understands travelers. This has become my go-to secondary bag for flights because it takes up almost no space in my suitcase but becomes incredibly useful once I arrive at my destination. It’s especially perfect for international travel, theme parks, hiking excursions, cruise ports, or simply keeping extra storage handy during long travel days. If I could change one thing, I wish it had one additional exterior pocket for quick-access items like sunglasses or a passport. The current design is streamlined and minimal, which many people will love, but one more small pocket would make it nearly perfect for travel organization. Overall, this is one of the smartest travel purchases I’ve made in a long time. Lightweight, practical, durable, and easy to pack — exactly what you want from an ultralight daypack.

The most perfect travel backpack
The most amazing travel backpack of all time. Super portable. Very light and durable. Spacious yet not small enough for constant travel. Had this for 9 days in Italy across Rome, Florence, Perugia, and Assisi and I couldn’t be happier. The most perfect travel backpack ever.

Great little packable backpack for travel
Great little packable backpack. Took this on a trip to St Croix and it worked great for carrying items from rental car to the beach, sometimes requiring over a mile hike to get to the secluded beach. Was able to carry two medium sized beach towels, a drone along with it's controller and a JBL bluetooth speaker. It was comfortable as long as I had the towels on the side resting against my back. When traveling, I have a nice, sturdy Osprey backpack for carrying my laptop, ipad, and a bunch of other stuff. However, I don't want to use it for hiking when I get to a destination and this one worked perfectly for my situation, and I anticipate using it for trips like this for years to come. Best of all, it was easy to re-pack it back into the compact form!

fantastic size, weight, features, value. replaces a sling with a nicer form factor for a daypack
Fantastic ultralight backpack for hiking or as a daypack at your destination when traveling as a tourist. After using a sling bag for a while, I found two problems with it: 1. not quite big enough for bulkier items like a puffer jacket 2. ergonomics aren't so good for carrying more than one water bottle or drink. The sling feels better for specific cases like riding the subway and keeping the bag in front for security and to not bump others. But this ultralight backpack is overall going to better when traveling (mainly on vacation) and you need a daypack to carry only a few items around all day (sunglasses, sunscreen, phone charger, rain jacket, medicines, water bottle, etc.). The Osprey Ultralight Stuff Pack is perfect for reducing the size and weight - only 5.3oz and can stuff into its own pocket in a size about the same as an orange. It barely takes up any weight and space in your travel bags. Has a little key leash and some loops to attach other items. Bought it on sale so its value is tremendous. I like the neutral black color, but part of me wanted the bright orange color (which was not on sale at the time). I think this pack will be perfect for a day hike, on vacation, at theme parks, as an extra bag for a personal item on a plane in case you bought some souvenirs you want to bring home, and various other similar use cases. Definitely recommend this pack.

Awesome little day pack
Keep this bag in glovebox or packed into a carryon suitcase. I like the durability, water proof, and size both packed and unpacked. Great for tossing in a couple nylon shopping bags hand sanitizer water bottle and all the other little things you may need while walking through a new city

Solid bag
Solid bag. Perfect for traveling. I usually stash this folded up in my luggage and use it as a day pack when I’m on a trip. Not as spacious as I would have hoped but it’s definitely doable. It’s lightweight and minimalistic in its design. Perfect for short day trips around town. Its build quality is great and zippers seem sturdy. I wish the material was a bit sturdier but so far I haven’t had any tears. It’s also a compromise to make it so light weight and packable!

Surprisingly durable, roomy, and lightweight
I just returned from a two-week backpacking trip overseas. While I checked my 30L backpack, I needed a carryon bag that I could also cram into my backpack for the hiking portion. I also used this pack to carry essentials for a night on the town, while leaving my larger pack in the hostel/albergue. This Osprey pack was exactly what I needed. Packability: I didn't even bother folding this bag up; I just crammed it into the bottom of my pack, and it flattened down to nothing. I didn't even notice it was there--It took up next to no room, and it weights next to nothing. Durability: this pack is very tough for having such thin, lightweight material. It holds up to abrasion and dirt, and it is even somewhat water resistant. This is not a pack that you can rip on a tree branch, or poke a pen through if you have one in your pack. Comfort: The chest strap (which also has a built-in whistle) and the shoulder straps distribute the weight evenly. Since this is a packable pack, there is no cushioning. So if you were to fill this backpack with sharp rocks, you will feel every one of them. I did wear this pack around a lot, and it was very comfortable to do so for several hours at a time. Capacity: I did worry that the airline would lose my checked hiking pack with all of my gear, so I filled this pack with a lot of stuff for the airplane, just in case. It fit a full change of clothes, a raincoat, microfiber towel, all my toiletries, an international AC adapter, two external batteries, cords, an iPhone and iPad mini, and half a dozen charging cords. Not to mention some snacks. And there is a water bottle holder on each side of the pack. I was able to fit a 1-liter Nalgene bottle in each of these. This is going to be my go-to backpack for this kind of travel for a long time.

The Bonus Pack You Didn't Know You Needed
This bad boy is functional and fun to use. It folks to the size between a softball and baseball, is incredibly versatile and its ease of packing makes it a mandatory inclusion even for simple overnight trips to have on-hand. I often pack a foldable bag too but prefer to use that for shopping (ie. groceries, clothes). This collapsible pack makes it far easier to explore urban and rural areas without committing to unpacking a travel briefcase (ugh) or laptop backpack. And it's sturdy.

great day pack
This pack is the right size and very useful! Nice that it folds into its own pocket but ever since it arrived it's being used.
