The cord isn’t as long as we’d like but we managed to make it work. The light is dimmable, which is nice because it is a bare bulb, which is very bright at the uppermost setting. Definitely worth the money. Looks very cool on our bookshelf.

Looks great! Is made of resin, but you wouldn’t know by looking at it. Would be nicer if made of iron. Great look, up on a shelf. Surprisingly bright, if using an Edison bulb (we bought these instead of the white bulb included with package). Adjustable dimmer is really a nice feature for our purposes (bedroom). Doesn’t topple like some reviewers have commented. My only wish would be for a slightly longer cord. The cord is only 3ft or so, and a longer cord would be helpful for placing in a high shelf without use of an extender. Of note, when we found this on another popular home store that usually has just what I need, the price was half off on Amazon.
