Low voltage wire connector
Nicely packed delivery on time. They seem good quality. Bit fiddly to use if youve got big hands. Does the job nicely good value for money

Great idea VERY badly executed
I've given 1 star, as there is no option for zero stars. This product is a total waste of time and money, and quite simply doesn't work. As other reviewers have stated, the clear plastic element of the product is extremely flimsy, and has a breaking point far lower than that of a typical wire sheath. This means that the cover will break, before the metal connectors pierce the outer sheath of the wire, rendering the product unusable. I literally could not get one of these items to work, and gave up trying, in the end. Don't waste your money. Look for a higher quality item, instead.

Perfect
Perfect for my needs thanks

Excellent product
Used to repair wiring in my car. My tip would be to feed wires in through the clear holes all the way then push with fingers to get the final closure use pliers gently for the final click. Excellent easy and looks very tidy

They work, but not as promised
I wasted two figuring out what doesn't work. Maybe there are other ways to make them work, but I'm here - First you need a cable that fits through the pair of loops in the transparent plastic part. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07FD7KBWL/ is about 22AWG, it will fit and for short distances is good for the current (see below). Cutting the loops to fit bigger cable will weaken the connector and it's already barely adequate (as noted in other reviews). Tapering the cable insulation with side cutters, or lubing with isopropanol, might get the cable in but you probably won't be able to shut the jaws on it or the contacts will come loose inside. Connector wasted. You'll need a magnifying glass. Examine the way the transparent part latches, and the unhelpful way it slides lengthways. Insert the cable. Use a Mole wrench (locking pliers / Vise-Grips) for consistent squeeze. Start loose and tighten the screw a little until you can get the latch to shut. Examine with the magnifying glass to see whether you're done yet. Which polarity should I use? Well it doesn't matter, but I'm using the Anderson Powerpole convention: search for "red on the right, tongue on top". How much current will it take? Looking at it, I wouldn't trust it with more than an amp. More than this I expect it to overheat, melt and maybe catch fire. That means I want a 1A or smaller fuse between this thing and the power supply. Comparing to chocolate block (e.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/GTSE-Electrical-Connector-Blocks-Terminal/dp/B08LNWMMHQ/ ) - is it easier? Not really, even if I didn't have automatic wire strippers. These can plug/unplug more quickly, but I doubt they will survive 100 mating cycles. If you want that, use a 2.1mm axial (barrel) DC connector. Is it neater? The finish looks nicer but you can't screw these down without another fitting, so you're not quite there. Sticky pad on the back of one connector, maybe? Is it electrically safer, for contact of the voltage? These are harder for stray metal to find a way into, but that isn't a huge concern with chocolate block. It has to be low voltage, it needs a fuse and sometimes you want to poke the chocolate block with a multimeter anyway. Is it electrically safer, for current carrying and heat? No. I'm certain a chocolate block will give a solid connection of whatever capacity you choose. I'll use the 14 I have left but not buying any more.

Great product
Ideal for an amateur electrician very fast and no stripping of wires.

Be prepared to throw 1/2 of the packet away!
Garbage... the terminals do not sink through the wire sleeves well, leaving partial connections. I then decided to strip the wires before using these connectors and then noticed that some still didn't create a good connection to each other... bending the connector forced a better connection, so I was able to prove that it was these clips and not any other part of my test circuit. The plastic hoods are flimsy and the tiny plastic nub that acts as the hoods clip piece snaps easily when trying to open it. This product made my life 10x harder, not easier. I went back to my trusty crocodile clips.

Great idea but........
A nice idea for a product, but very user unfriendly. Easy to break the plastic closure, and you can only use very thin wiring, and even then the wiring is t that secure. In the end, I threw them away and soldered wires and used heat shrink covers.

Doesn’t hold on properly to wires and clip cover easily brakes off.
