One feature I really appreciated was the microphone mute button. When you mute the mic, a small red LED lights up on the microphone that’s visible in your peripheral vision. It seems like a simple feature, but it’s incredibly useful because you always know whether you’re muted or live without having to guess. The headset is comfortable enough to wear for extended gaming sessions, and the audio quality is better than I expected at this price point. I wanted a headphone/mic set that would allow me to take advantage of speech to text functions, dictation to AI and maybe even some gaming or music listening on the computer. These seem to check off all those requirements. First, these are very comfortable to wear. The 'cloud' name is appropriate for the ear and headband pads. They are adjustable for ear positions and the detachable & adjustable mic works well. The noise cancellation worked well enough for me as I don't hear any outside noise. I like the option for connecting as they have 3.5mm jack, USB and USB-C cables/adapter. With the USB cable adapter, it is more than long enough to reach my computer. The headphone sound was really quite good especially for this price point. The mic picks up sound well enough though comes though a little on the quiet side. Connecting was easy as windows picked it up immediately when plugged in and made it the default. I'm quite happy with these and the price was a good value.

A solid 4.5/5. Great comfort, felt it immediately. Mic audio is pretty good, a bit sensitive though, It can pick up my mouse clicks. So I had to turn down my mic sound level. Little to no sound cancellation, not really what I got for it anyways. Phenomenal packaging, very presentable and looks like good quality before even putting it on. The cord is also kind of long with the USB add on, not really a big issue, but it's been getting caught on my chair and my cats are trying to use it as a new toy. Extremely awesome range of motion for the headband. Just like the picture in the add, I'm impressed. Very tactile sound level scroll wheel and mic mute button, feels good.

The metal frame feels sturdy and premium, the detachable microphone is very convenient, and I really appreciate the mute indicator light since it's easy to tell when the mic is muted. My only suggestion for improvement is the comfort. They're slightly on the heavier side, and replacing the stock earpads with lighter aftermarket ones made a noticeable difference during long sessions. Other than that, I have no complaints. I use them for work every day, people hear me clearly, and music sounds great.

My kids have been using HyperX headsets for years and they always work great. The sound quality is clear, the mic works well, and they’re comfortable enough for long gaming sessions. They’ve held up surprisingly well considering how much they get used. Anytime they need a new headset, they always ask for this brand again because they know it’s reliable. Definitely worth the money if you want something durable with good sound quality.

I have bought HyperX headsets for about 10 years now. From 2017ish to 2024 I just bought the Stinger Ones because they were cheap and lightweight. However in 2024 I had enough money that I wanted to invest in a better headset. It has been 2 years since my purchase and it is still one of the most comfortable headsets I have tried. I am apart of the collegiate esports scene and have tried multiple other brands but nothing is as light and durable as the HyperX Cloud 3. My headset survived 6 moves and multiple clumsy drops or falls off a desk. It has been stuffed in a bag with other equipment, textbooks and notebooks so I would have it at practices. Now on this day 2 years later (Almost exactly on the date I bought it Jul.18 2024 and it just lost the speaker in the left ear today Jul. 15 2026) it has broken. Definitely looking to buy another and honestly its solely based on comfortability. The cushions are soft and feel nice. As well as the adjustability being able to stay at the exact change without sliding. Overall a top tier choice and now that they are on sale I highly recommend for anyone interested. The sound quality at times can be lacking however the comfort and light weight of the headset make up for it. It still can hold its own against higher end headsets for audio but some other do pick up better.

Good quality of sound. Battery life was fine. They are comfortable and adjustable, and are a bit different than the II’s which I have, as well. The connections to PC are great with a rather long wire, which is nice to have. The color was nice, not overbearing. The one reason these were returned is because of the ear cups. The II’s have a velour ear cup, these have a leather/pleather material. It’s soft and feels nice, but, just gets too hot and damp over multiple hours. Because of that, they got returned. If you don’t mind leather ear cups, then, these are a decent set for the price.
