Be careful of the neck contact pads! *by L***R on June 12, 2024* My wife wanted me to try this device---early Papa's Day gift---and I quickly discovered that it was like a tens unit, without the sticky pads. My neck issue is not tired, sore muscles, it is neurological in nature (severe spinal stenosis that compresses my spinal cord, and impinges nerve roots in my right neck & shoulder), so this device is useless to alleviate my pain... Also, I have a fairly thick neck (the young lady in the pic on the device box has the neck of a gazelle, so, for her, it must be comfortable to use), and the side pads were compressing my carotids on both sides, making me feel woozy...when I tried to gently pull the device side pads apart to relieve the pressure, I inadvertently caused one of the contact pads to lose contact on the back of my neck---and it felt like I got tasered on my neck, the shock was so bad!
