I have dry skin and really wanted something to help scrub it off. I tried microfiber towels and other hard sponges and they were OK at best. I decided to try this Body Mitt based on the number of positive reviews and have to say this mitt is amazing! You really need to follow the directions and you have to put some effort into scrubbing. Yes, your skin will likely turn a bit red from the rubbing but it goes away quickly and is worth it. The amount of dead skin that you can remove with this mitt is amazing! I have very rough elbows and generally need to use a fine file to sand them down dry. Using this mitt, I have been able to scrub them smooth! Same goes for my knees. I generally use this about every 2-3 days in the shower and it has made a noticeable difference. Trust me, you don't want to use this in the bath because you want to flush away the skin as you remove it. My skin is much smoother and softer. I liked this mitt so much I also bought their smaller ZitMitt. It's less abrasive than the Body Mitt and it removed all the dry skin from my face and cleaned all of my pores! It actually pulled the blackheads out which I didn't think was possible using just a mitt. If I had to mention one negative it's that the mitt's seams started coming apart after about a month. I wrote to the seller and they were quick to reply and sent me a replacement immediately! Great customer service! The second mitt seems to have stronger seams and has held up really well. I know this Body Mitt is a bit expensive but if you have dry skin then this is totally worth it!

This mitt is amazing. It really gets the dead skin off. This is my 3rd one.

I happened across the MicrodermaMitt while I was browsing for a new exfoliating cloth to replace an old one. The price seemed pretty steep for an exfoliating mitt, but the reviews were good, and I was in a "treat yo'self" mood that day, so figured I'd give it a shot.... Not going to lie, I was a bit disappointed when I opened it. It kind of looked like something I'd find in the $1 Deal bin, and it felt so smooth/non-abrasive that I really didn't think it was going to actually exfoliate my skin all that much. I figured I'd been duped out of 25 bucks and that was that.... Next time I went to shower, I almost grabbed my old exfoliating cloth, but decided to at least give the MicrodermaMitt a shot. And I still CANNOT believe how well this mitt worked. (Now, I want to preface this by saying that I religiously exfoliate, twice a week, every week. I've been through plenty of different exfoliating cloths, mitts, scrubs, etc.) I got in the warm shower, gave it a few minutes to soften up my skin, then turned off the water and got to scrubbing. At first, I really didn't think it was doing much. It didn't feel harsh, abrasive, or scratchy like most exfoliating mitts, and honestly, it felt like it was just kind of smoothly wiping over my skin. And then I ran my hand over my freshly-exfoliated stomach, and it was absolutely COVERED with little balls and rolls of removed dead skin (gross, I know). This mitt exfoliated me SO well that I had to stop and rinse myself and the mitt a couple times before I got completely done. And as someone who already frequently exfoliates, I couldn't believe there was THAT MUCH to remove!!! After drying off, and applying a light moisturizer, I still can't believe how smooth, silky, and fresh my skin is. Even though the MicrodermaMitt exfoliated so well, it was not harsh, at all. Usually I come out of the shower a bit red, blotchy, and dry after exfoliating. The MicrodermaMitt didn't leave me red or overly scrubbed at all, just smooth and fresh. In fact, it was so gentle that I even used it on my face immediately after stepping out of the shower. The generous size of the mitt makes it super fast to exfoliate all over, it easily rinsed clean, and the hanging loop is super convenient for storing out of the shower. I will definitely purchase this mitt over and over again, it is WELL worth the price!

I like it. But one is inconvenient. I have to change it hands to do the other side. Two would be best, so you could keep going when its time to rub/scrub the other side.

Okay so I have KP and I've kind of just dealt with it my my whole life. It wasn't that bad just some redness and bumps on my thighs and upper arms. I recently had a baby and my KP got worst during my pregnancy. I know you can't completely get rid of KP but I was looking for something to help since it spread so much during my pregnancy. I religiously exfoliate twice a week with a KP scrub and loofah brush so I wasn't sure this mitt would make a huge difference but at this point I'm willing to try anything. All I can say is WOW. I did not think that much dead skin could come off my body. I almost feel like these scrubs and loofahs I've been using have been lying to me about their exfoliating power. I have never used something that where I could literally see tons of dead skin, oil, and dirt come off my skin until I used this mitt. I got obsessed and used it all over my entire body including my face. I have super sensitive skin and most soaps or scrubs make my skin red and blotchy this mitt did not. I always have dry skin patches on my nose this helped that. My KP is not by any means gone but my skin is less red and feels much much smoother. I will definitely continue to use this mitt and purchase a new one when it wears out. I'm looking forward to seeing how much it'll help my KP with continued use.

This would have been a 5 star review if not for the fact that you have to be very careful in cleaning this. Upon first use, I found this to be great. It truly is like a microdermabrasion treatment. I saw all the shed skin sloughed off, kinda off putting, but my skin felt very soft with no feeling of abrasion. I realized when almost finished that debris was inside the mit. So I tried using water to rinse it out, thinking it somehow it got in through the opening where your hand goes in. Nope. It goes through the Mitt. And what's more, not only does it collect inside, in order to clean it out you must turn it inside out and be sure all the creases and corners are exposed well so you get all the debris out that collected in the corners. I found it a bit easier to use it inside out. It's slightly easier to clean, but you still have to be careful when cleaning this thing while in the shower.

I absolutely love this mitt, I've been using for over 6 months now and nothing I have used in the past has exfoliated my skin like this mitt does, it leaves my skin noticeably soft to the touch. My skin produces too much keratin which causes KP in my arms, contributes to acne on my face, and overall rough skin, but this mitt has helped A LOT. I use it every night after a hot shower (after rinsing the soap or shower gel) and it leaves my skin really soft. Especially on my face is where I've noticed how effective at exfoliating it is, because I use an acne treatment that causes some dry skin and peeling (I use retinoic acid gel 0.25% every night and salicylic acid toner 2% by "Face reality" in the day, absolutely brilliant treatment by the way, please try it if you have acne, start slowly and endure the purge for the first month or so) and here's where the mitt shines because it exfoliates my face effortlessly, and it's making a BIG difference, my face hasn't been this clear and soft in ages, but bear in mind the softness is because of the mitt, not just the treatment because I was using the same treatment on my face before and even though it is effective, my skin was always rough and dry even if I used other forms of physical exfoliation IT WAS NOT THE SAME. I love that it’s made of silk (so I’m not rubbing toxins against my skin) and it dries supper quick. I can’t do without this now! I want to order one specifically for my face and my back. I 100% percent recommend it

I am so glad I found this on Amazon and decided to purchase it. (I was a bit hesitant to buy because of the cost . . . . . but after reading the reviews and how you are suppose to use it I realized it wasn't a loofah). I have terrible Keratosis Pillaris on my upper arms (looks like pimples all over) and it extends at times to my shoulders and front of upper chest. This mitt really works to remove the top skin layer and then the build up of the protein is wiped away. You have to be very careful to scrub hard enough to take off the skin where you need it, but there is caution here. You can scrub too hard and remove too much skin. I had this happen on my forearms and it was raw. Luckily it healed up with some scabs that fell off within one week . . . so no big tradegy. You have to use this with trial and error, to determine how hard you should you scrub. But I have to say that it has been the best solution to greatly reduce my KP . . . more so than anything else I have ever tried. It hasn't removed the KP entirely, but it is greately reduced it on my arms which is a big plus for me. KP is a drag and people over the years have made comments about my pimple arms. Auugghh!! Try it and you'll see . . . this is a good product to buy!!

It disgustingly works well. I bought one for myself and gifted one to my mom. Your skin will feel soooo smooth afterwards

I used it for the first time in the shower and it did an OK job but not quite what I was expecting after reading the reviews. I soaked myself nicely in the bathtub today and WOW!!! So impressed! I was shocked by the amount of dead skin and dirt that it took of me!😬🫠🙈 Worth every penny. Skin feels so clean and soft!

Best exfoliating product I've ever used! Skin is so smooth now! I will buy again for myself and possibly others.

Awesome for once a week exfoliating. I was surprised the first time I used it because I frequently use body scrubs to exfoliate and didn’t think much dead skin would come off but surprisingly it did. Leaves my arms and chest feeling so soft and clean and leaves my legs looking so much better. One star off because it is really really expensive for a mitt that should be replaced every six months or so
