Review: Perfect for my custom deck gate - When rebuilding our deck, I knew I wanted a sliding/rolling deck gate as opposed to a traditional swing gate. It's only a little shy of 5 ft in length and I wanted it to stay level with the rest of the railing so its inline when open and closed. I bought a few options and ended up going with these for the gate build. Ultimately, these seemed to be the best quality and also sat within the 2x4 well. They also double as a stop point since they sit on the corner with the way I set it up. They roll super smooth and were the perfect height to keep everything in line as I hoped, while also tying into the rest of the black hardware of the deck. Super glad I added these to the trial purchase and will be using them for additional rolling gates.

These are built well. But if you are installing in a case like I did, (musical instrument case) with any type of weight capacity, you have to reinforce the inside of the case too! I wish they supplied metal spacers or at least as an option, for the inside of your case project. But they are built well otherwise.
