Purchased this to replace the plastic filter in my Bodum Pebo and it works perfectly. I will say though that after a little trial and error, you do not actually need to do anything with the strings after pulling them tight to the filter frame. So no bow knots, etc, just place in your siphon coffee maker and lock it in to place. The pressure from the spring and being pulled against the inside of the top pot holds everything in place.
