I’ve tried multiple different brands over the years, and this Stanley food jar is by far my favorite. The key is to follow the instructions and pour hot water inside for a few minutes before adding the food — once you do that, it works amazingly well. My preteen uses it for school, and she says her food stays hot all the way until lunchtime. The quality is excellent, and the color is beautiful in person. She loves carrying it, and the built-in spork on the side is such a convenient bonus. It’s sturdy, reliable, and definitely worth the price. This is the only food jar we’ll be buying from now on!

Fantastic food jar that actually keeps stuff hot. We've gone through other thermos-like food jars for my kids, hoping they'd keep their food hot until lunch time, only to be disappointed every single time. I thought this was maybe a bit over-priced (it's probably true lol) because of Stanley's recent explosion in popularity with their moronic gigantic cups, but they sure know how to make a thermos. Yes, pre-heat the thermos with boiling or near-boiling water for a few minutes, and then put your hot food into it. We have used this for: soup; ravioli, macaroni and cheese, shredded bbq chicken, etc. Every time I ask my kids if the food was hot, and I will even get the report that the food was TOO hot to eat come lunchtime (usually associated with soup). Only negative - the spork that comes with it. Even in the photo, you can tell - maybe this spoon is a wee bit short... If you're using it for soup you need a larger spoon, period. For the other items I've mentioned, my kids make do with the little spork. But it's obvious that if you're getting all the food at the bottom, you're really "getting in there" with the spork and your hand. We hand wash our stuff to prolong its life. The info that comes with it says you can technically run it through the dishwasher but it might reduce it's life / finish. Thus, hand washing it is for us, but YMMV.

Stanley quality, well built and performs well. Keeps breakfast hot until ready to eat it after workout. Would buy it again.

This keeps food hot for 5 hours only if you preheat it first. Otherwise food is lukewarm after a few hours. But that's about the same as other brands so... Not a fan of the sport on the side, prefer the folding spoon in lid myself. It works but still hunting for something that will keep food a little hotter. Probably would work better for soups than leftovers though.

Tried thermos and few other brands but none come close to keep the food hot like this food jar from Stanley. Added a rubber band to make opening of the lid easier for small hands, will be perfect if there is a handle Also dislike the design that the spoon is exposed so I have to wrap a paper towel around it every day. Price is on the higher side but despite all these short comings, this is excellent in keeping the food hot for > 4 hours

These are life savers. Bought two and they have been great in keeping my food very hot. If you keep them in an insulates bag, it’s even crazier.

Got for my husband who goes off early mornings. He says that the contents stay hot until he wants. Just the right size for breakfast. Leakproof. I like it because it can go in the dishwasher.

Esta muy bien, es muy bonito y de gran calidad. La cuchara es un poco corta pero está bien. Mantiene muy bien la temperatura, antes de salir de mi trabajo en la cocina prepare el thermo para mi cena y se mantuvo más caliente de lo que puedo consumir sin quemarme. Leí a alguien decir que es pequeño y lo es pero no es ninguna sorpresa leyendo la medida antes de comprar. Para efectos prácticos puedo contarte que cabe el equivalente a una lata de cerveza o refresco (aunque no deberías guardar nada gasificado) Un detalle. Es mi tercer producto Stanley verde y todos vienen solo en bolsa normal de amazon Hasta ahora nunca habia recibido producto dañado aunque lo he visto mucho en reseñas. No me fue tan mal como a otros en realidsd pero supongo que es importante seguirlo señalando.
