Large enough for zucchini plants
These worked perfectly! I used these to cover my staked zucchini plants during the season. Vine borers attacked my squash the past few years, but not this year! WIN The drawstring was easy to use when I needed to get in & hand-pollinate. The mesh kept the bugs off my plants, letting sunlight and water to get in as needed. Highly recommend! No damage through this season, I'll be using them again next season too.

Good, but not a 100% proof.
Great for keeping your fruit safe from birds. Then again it traps all the insects inside once you put it over your plant/bush/tree. I put these over 4 ultra dwarf peach, and nectarine trees.....after they fruited out. Gotta have them busy bees, do their thing! Once I put these on, it kept any bugs inside trapped. Well guess what? They still ate some of my baby ripening fruit! The bugs, not the birds, so I have to figure something else out for them buggers. I grow organically, so I'm limited. Overall these bags work very good, and are easy to place over your plants. Once over, pulled the draw cord, and it will tighten up nicely. They are washable by hand, and should last a few seasons.

Protect the Fruit from nature.
Surprised quality was better than expected. Lemon house tree needed protection since bloomed inside and was headed outside. Birds and squirrels weren't able to take the one fruit growing .. ha...holding up to illinois winds and rain so far as we enter spring. Will post again in late summer.

Drawstring Bird Netting: The Perfect Solution for Fruit Loving Birds
Perfect protection for our strawberry plants, which the birds enjoy more than we do. The netting isn't heavy so as to weigh down on the plants but also not too light to fly away in the wind. Strawberries are self pollinating, which is good, because even the bees can't get to them now. You just unfold the net bags and slip them easily over the plants. The drawstring helps to keep them secured. For a set of 4, under $10, the price point is a great value for money. We just got them, so I can't speak to the durability, but unless they rot in the sun over the summer, I think they will meet our needs for this growing season. If they last longer than that, it will just be a bonus. Our strawberries are in a tower planter, and this neeting works perfectly.

Bird Cover
I bought these because we live in the country and the squirrels and birds kept getting into my fruits and veggies. They worked well for the first month but then the animals started chewing through it and I had to throw it away. I wish they were litte more durable and better protection but other than that they worked well for the 1st month.

Bigger is Better
When these arrived, I thought I had ordered the wrong size. They looked huge. I bought them to protect my Brussels sprouts from cabbage moth damage and larval infestation, after the seedlings outgrew the sizes I'd ordered early in the season. They looked almost comical. Now, weeks later, the br'outs have filled the bags. I must not have secured the openings tightly enough, because early on I found cabbage moths fluttering inside the bags, but it was easy to squish them since they were trapped at the top. Since then, no more moths, and I don't see any larvae or damage. Next year I will buy more and and make sure I seal them more tightly. The bags seem to be designed for keeping birds and critters out of small fruit trees, so I can't fault them for letting in the moths. They are sturdy and well made, and the mesh is definitely fine enough to keep out insects. The size allows the plants to grow pretty freely without being cramped.

Great idea
Definitely great to keep out the pest insect and birds. I've used it on our mango tree and get to eat tge fruit instead of the night creatures.

I thought they were great...until I had to remove them from my plants
I purchased these in July when I could not control the amount of green worms on my Kale in the garden. The size of the overall bags are great! My Kale is the Dinosaur variety and it grows big, really big. Overall, the bag's did the job, but when I went to remove them just a week or so ago, the minute I touched the draw strings, they fell apart (see the photo I attached). Those are pieces of the drawstrings from multiple bags. All 4 of the bag draw strings are now garbage and I don't have a way to keep these on my Kale plants next year. Yes, I could weigh them down with rocks or bricks but the whole point of the draw string was to be able to tie it down to the main stalk to avoid any critters from getting into the bag. I am actually very disappointed in the overall product now because I only got 3 months use out of them. Buyer beware, their quality is not good.
