Cute, love it, I want to keep this for myself! I might have to buy another to keep on my desk! I bought it for my nephew along with "Roving Mars" DVD which had Disney backing so the production value is awesome, and the book "Cars on Mars". My sister told me he didn't know what NASA was. Auntie can't be having that! NASA isn't funded to do nearly enough right now and I just can't imagine growing up not knowing about space travel- but Curiousity Rover is happening now and I figure I can sneak him into interested by knowing about what is happening RIGHT NOW. Maybe he'll even get his friends interested. I figured a toy would lead him to watch the movie, and the book could keep him interested after the fact. Hopefully when new Curiosity Rover info hits the news in his house now, he'll pay attention. <3 Thank you Hot Wheels, we love your little Rover!

My 4-year old loves all thing space, and has watched many videos of Mars rovers. He wanted a Curiosity rover for his birthday. I looked all over, and this was the only toy that was a good replica of the actual rover. He loves it. It's a die cast toy (only the wheels move), but it's really great quality. (It has sustained a lot of 4-year old play!!)

I have been looking for something like this since the first Mars rovers landed, so when i found this online i snatched it up. This is the perfect desk ornament for space geeks such as myself. Hey guys, i would pay a lot more for a good replica! You folks are leaving money on the table.

I searched and searched for the Mars Rover Perseverance so my son could have it but could only find Curiosity. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive Perseverance. I don't know if it was a mistake. If so, I am thrilled that a mistake finally worked in my favor.
