Rammstein: Videos 1995-2012 [DVD]

Bought these for my sister as a birthday present, and I assume she really like watching them all as she told me all about it afterwards, saying that it detailed almost of the bands most popular performances and tours etc.

I received my delivery promptly on the day of release (thank you Amazon!) and was pleased with the packaging, it was well protected and arrived in perfect condition. The set is covered by a neat hologram that changes as you angle it to the eyes. It's very tidy and there's no teeny-bopper crap anywhere to be seen, it's just simple and cool. The videos are top quality, some of which I had not seen before. There's about an hour of music videos on each disc accompanied by the "making of" for each one. I've watched all the music videos through, head-banging as I did, and then watched one of the "making of" videos. It is, of course, in German so unless you speak German you must be prepared to turn the English subtitles on. All in all, a very good set. To those giving it a poor rating due to the wrong discs, that's a logistics problem. Try reviewing the product when you get it...

Very good Rammstein dvd

Unfortunately the Blu-ray version had a fault on one of my fave tracks so had to be returned, instead I ordered the DVD version (I have an upscaler so the picture quality is just as good) so now I can watch this top collection of videos without any gaps or tracks which 'jump'.....I also like the bonus features of the 'Making of' each video, a great insight into how the band work together and improvise to make a video work and great fun too....these guys have a great sense of humour. Loving my Rammstein!

Rammstein wow what a band. I love this Bluray to give me all the videos for Rammstein its really nicely presented, and the cover shows all six band members a very clever bit of engineering I think. I really enjoy the videos a lot but i find it very frustrating that some of the older videos cannot be resized to fit the screen they have really strange aspect ratios, I did find myself being slightly distracted from the glory of the songs due to constantly fiddling with the remote on the tv and dvd. (one Star knocked off for this) The sound is good and the making of videos really good, im so pleased to have such a nice collection and they really make some good videos. I will always remember Mutter this was my first ever experience of Rammstein. Cant believe some of the things they sing about.

Loved it. Is for the picture quality , naturally the older songs look a little grainy but as the disc progresses through time the picture quality gets better. The sound is brilliant. Well worth a purchase. Hope they release more on blu ray.

This a review of the Blu Ray. I bought this for a Christmas present and was well impressed until I noticed like most of the other reviews on here that I had been sent 2 copies of Disc 2 and Disc 1 is missing. As I only noticed this on Xmas Eve as I was wrapping it up has left me feeling rather annoyed. I know its not Amazons fault but how could so many copies of this Video have the same problem. I have left a 5 star review because I think you should review the product and not the service. But as this product is now showing out of stock Amazon need to sort this out! On another note I paid £18.00 for this when I first ordered it on 7th December why has it now gone up to £23.99!!

ドイツのインダストリアル・メタルバンドのミュージックビデオ集です。 デジパック仕様で、英語表記ですが各クリップのクレジット本もついてます。 日本盤は待っていても今後も発売されないだろう。と思ったので購入しました。 初期の作品は４：３なのは仕方なく、全体的にHDリマスターされてないですが ブルーレイ２枚で彼らの歴史を簡単に振り返る事ができます。 （ディスク２収録曲は１６：９になってます）。 ディスク１のラスト曲が４枚目のアルバム収録「マイン・タイル」で ディスク２の冒頭曲は４枚目のアルバム収録「アメリカ」で始まりますが 「マイン・タイル」をディスク２の冒頭曲にして欲しかったところです。 そうすれば流れ的にも良かったと思います。個人的な意見ですが。 各クリップの制作秘話は日本語字幕がついてますので安心です。 「アメリカ」の歌詞自体は「コカコーラ時々戦争」と風刺に満ちています。 メンバー達は歌詞の内容を補足するかのようにアメリカ批判をします。 もちろんアメリカという国の良さや文化も同時に認めた上で。 それがあまりにもラムシュタインらしくてニンマリと笑ってしまいました。 でもなぜか先のNY公演では「アメリカ」をセットリストから外してましたが。 ラムシュタインって、社会主義思想の東ドイツの少年達が ベルリンの壁の向こうの西側世界をイメージしてる感じで面白いです。 ホラーというより精神的な倒錯世界を映像化してる感じです。 ラムシュタインを聴くと浦沢直樹さんの名作漫画「モンスター」を読みたくなります（苦笑）。

If you're into Rammstein, you have to have this. No ifs or buts, this is utterly riveting. No pyro... well, a bit... High drama, seismic performance, brilliant music. Just buy it.

Videi davvero ben pensati e realizzati. Veri pezzi di arte. La risoluzione immagine è bassa come da aspettarsi da vecchi riprese sul DVD. Altri commentatori dicono che neanche i blueray sono stati rimasterizzati quindi DVD va bene. Questi videi sono come vecchi film classici in bianco-nero e audio mono: fatti così bene che non noti neanche la mancanza di video 4k o audio 7.1 Fanno venire la voglia di studiare tedesco...

Any fan knows that strange, provocative visuals are part of the Rammstein experience. This DVD, which collects all of Rammstein's music videos + the making of said videos, shows the growth of the band. All of the videos are in lush HD, which makes some of the early videos look hilariously dated (what even is happening in Seeman?). Yes, you can view everything on this DVD on Youtube, but this is a damn fine DVD. I've yet to buy a Rammstein boxset that didn't blow me away with the creativity and care put into it, from packaging to content. The video and sound quality is excellent. The "Making Of" are fun and informative. Some of them focus solely on the director ("Mann Gegan Mann", for example) which is a bit disappointing. Others are filmed as interviews with a few members of the band reflecting on the creation of the video. Personally, I always enjoy watching the making of "Mein Teil", "Mein Land", and "Mein Herz Brennt." Overall, I would highly recommend this DVD for any Rammstein fan.

Rammstein waren europaweit die allerersten mit ihrer Musik-DVD „Live aus Berlin“ in 99 und ich war damals schon dabei. Die DVD hat mich damals umgehauen und steht bis heute in der ersten Reihe als perfekte Konzert-DVD: geiles Konzert, satter 5.1 Sound, 1A Ausstattung. Nun also endlich die erste RST BluRay. Erster Eindruck: Sound fett remastert (natürlich in Stereo-Rockclips will ich nur von vorn). Die Videoqualität der Clips ist verschieden. Gerade die ersten Werke waren ja wohl auch noch vergleichsweise LowBudget-Produktionen für kleine Röhrenfernseher, nix mit Film Dreh usw. Mir ist aber aufgefallen, dass auf der BluRay eine deutliche Verbesserung des Videos zum Beispiel im direkten Vergleich zu den Clips auf meiner "Lichtspielhaus" zu sehen ist. Die Videos sind offensichtlich überarbeitet für die BluRay-sie sind rauscharmer, schärfer und klarer als auf den alten DVDs und in der Zusammenstellung fällt die Qualität vom 97-er "Du riechst so gut " bis zum aktuellen "Mein Herz brennt" nicht völlig auseinander. Schade finde ich allerdings, das "Feuer Frei" vom Bild so abschmiert. In Tripple-X sieht Rammstein besser aus als auf ihrem eigenen Clip. Wäre geil gewesen, wenn man hier das alte Filmmaterial neu in HD gebracht hätte. Wahrscheinlich sind aber die alten Tripple-X Filmrollen längst in einem Bergwerk fürs nächste Jahrtausend verscharrt... Ich bin trotzdem von der BluRay völlig begeistert, Rammsteins komplettes Videowerk inkl. Dokus zu Wurzeln, Ideen und Erlebnissen der Band am Set und on Tour-völlig aus einem Guss. Ich finde es super, dass die Jungs sich die Zeit für die Interviews genommen haben und dass auch jeder aus der Rammsteinfamilie zu Wort kommt. Soll nochmal jemand sagen, Rammstein wäre ambivalent... Die Scheibe ist einfach Klasse, auch klasse Hülle und edle Menüs- wie immer. Die BluRay hier wird wahrscheinlich genauso lange für sich stehen wie „Live aus Berlin“.
