I bought this thinking that I could use it to soften the silicone around the bath without needing much elbow grease. But that's not the case. You need to use a scraping tool to remove as much of the silicone as possible before applying this solution to the remaining bits that just won't come off. It did a good job and those stubborn bits just wiped away with some paper towel in the end. Needed to apply it a few times to get all the excess silicone removed, but it did the job.

I was really pleased with this product. Used it to remove thick blobs of silicone which had been used to glue down a plastic windowsill. You do need to still scrape off the blobs but they come off easily. Meant I could rub down and repaint the original wooden sill, which came up really well.

Softened the old silicone around the shower tray but it still needed a lot of scraping to remove the stubborn bits. I was very surprised to find that the pot is only half full, though it probably was 100ml as advertised.

Easy to use and great results after leaving product on for half an hour. Re sealing my bath easier than expected with help of this product .

Needed to remove old glue from painted skirting boards - this broke down the beads of glue and allowed me to scrape it off.

I only provide reviews for really excellent products or really bad ones, and sadly this is a bad one. I really cannot understand how Soundal can put their name on this product. It must be the worst Silicone remover I have ever used. I thought No frill silicone remover was bad, but at least it did work after several more applications. This stuff is absolutely useless at removing clear silicone. Maybe it's OK for white pigmented filled silicone but it can’t even remove less than 1mm of high-quality clear silicone off wall tiles or shower tray! Applied as directed and this silicone remover failed to do anything, left on for 4 times longer and applied more every 30 min. Silicone is less than 1mm thick. Very disappointed!! I personally would remove this product from sale as it is that bad on clear silicone!

This took the silicone off very well, but it didn’t take it off so well on the chrome.

Ich hab zum ersten Mal im Leben Silikonfugen entfernt, und dieses Mittelchen hat mir geholfen, dies sehr sauber zu schaffen. Ohne den Entferner hätte ich die letzten Reste nach dem Cuttern nie weggebracht.

Acquistato per rimuovere del silicone dalle piastrelle, seguendo le istruzioni è venuto via senza alcuna fatica, ho fatto la prova ad eliminare anche della colla vecchia da tempo, il risultato è stato strabiliante, non scolorisce e non rovina le superfici. Non ha odori particolari, per cui lo si può utilizzare anche in ambienti chiusi. Consiglio l'acquisto.

It didn’t help to remove all the silicone residue but did make it easier.
