Useful tool
The DYC chain breaker tool is a strong and simple tool that works exactly as it should. The metal body feels solid and heavy, not cheap or flimsy, and the threads on the press screw are smooth with no binding. It lines up perfectly on 420 through 530 size chains and pushes the pins out cleanly without bending or slipping. The handle gives good leverage, and the tip stayed straight even after a few stubborn links. It’s compact enough to carry in a toolbox but sturdy enough for regular shop use. For the price this tool is excellent quality and makes breaking and resizing chains quick and easy. Five stars for strength, precision, and value.

Simple to use and it works.
Excellent tool for breaking light gauge motorcycle chain, seems sturdy, and so far has broken a chain three times successfully. It does take a great deal of hand strength, but for the price it's an awesome addition to the tool kit.

Do not buy!
Junk. I used it once on a dirt bike chain and it was broken after that. The handle to turn it bent easily and the tip that pushes the chain pin through, broke in half. I would post a picture of it but I sent flying through the air into the abyss. Buy a different product.

Not the magic solution you were hoping for
This review is for the DYC Chain Breaker Tool for 420-530 Roller Chain. Like others have said, this tool requires you to use a grinder or Dremel with a metal cutting wheel on it and grind one end of the connecting pin down first. Even then this tool is prone to bending its push rod. I honestly think it's a design flaw, you should be able to adjust the rod length so that it's very short giving you the maximum amount of torque without bending it, but instead it's a constant length that's long enough to push the pin all the way through which you would need, but in my experience it caused it to bend on the first use. The good news is, you're not spending a fortune on this and it may work okay for you.
