Bed Sore
My husband loves this donut pillow seat cushion. He had a small bed sore on his bottom from being in the hospital for just 3 days. We bought 2 of these cushions (either large or x-large) to keep the pressure off the sore so it could heal. One cushion was for his recliner and the other was for his computer chair. The cushion was soft so it didn’t cause pain when he sat down but it was sturdy enough to provide some support as well. Bed sores take a long time to heal. You also have to keep bed sores very clean. Our doctor told him to use provodone-iodine (this is just iodine but that is the name they have for it at Walmart). I put some iodine on a cotton ball and then I rubbed gently across the sore to clean it once a day. In the early stages it required a bandage which needs to be changed once a day. After cleaning his sore with iodine on a cotton ball I put some iodine on the bandage as well as per the doctor’s instructions. Putting iodine on the bandage helped to keep the iodine on the sore and helped it heal. The doctor said we didn’t need to use the antibiotic ointment which we used at first. He said by cleaning the sore with iodine and by putting the iodine on the bandage the iodine would work to heal the sore. He also told my husband to try not to sit for long periods of time. He said get up and walk around the house a little about every 30 minutes. I’m so relieved the bed sore is gone. He still uses the donut pillow seat cushions because he finds them comfortable.

Great for comfort
Great quality vision, great for after surgery. The pillow maintains its shape and size and can be used to sit on after fistula surgery. No smell, ergonomic design and easy to use.

My Butt's New Best Friend - Seriously, This Thing is Amazing!
Okay, folks, let's talk about butts. Specifically, my butt, which has been suffering lately. I spend a lot of time sitting at my desk (thanks, work-from-home life!), and let's just say my tailbone hasn't been thrilled. I've tried various cushions, but nothing seemed to do the trick. Then I found this BlissTrends Donut Pillow, and it's been a game-changer. Seriously, this thing is like sitting on a cloud. A cloud that's specifically designed to relieve pressure on your tailbone and make sitting for long periods actually comfortable. The donut shape is genius. It takes the pressure off the sensitive areas, and the memory foam provides just the right amount of support. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and the difference is incredible. No more aching tailbone, no more shifting around in my chair trying to get comfortable. I can actually focus on my work instead of my butt pain! I also appreciate that it has a removable, washable cover. ("How can I clean its cover?" - you can, easily!) That's a must-have for anything that's going to be in close contact with my backside. And it's got a non-slip bottom, so it stays put on my chair. Pros: * Pain Relief! This is the biggest one. My tailbone pain is GONE. * Comfort: It's like sitting on a supportive cloud. * Removable, Washable Cover: Hygiene is important! * Non-Slip Bottom: Stays in place on my chair. * Portable: I can take it with me to the office or use it in the car. * Alleviate my pain. Minor gripes: * Honestly, I can't think of any. It's that good. Maybe it could come in more colors? But that's really reaching for a complaint. Overall: This donut pillow is a lifesaver (or should I say, butt-saver?). If you suffer from tailbone pain, hemorrhoids, or any other discomfort from sitting, do yourself a favor and get this pillow. You won't regret it. Five stars, two cheeks up!

Comfortable
Bought this for my elderly aunt who recently hurt her tail bone. This worked so well in the car for her comfort, we bought another to have around the house. It’s the only way she’s able to sit up.

Not quite right
This donut is OK but would be much better with a few changes. First, the overall size is a bit small, Feels like it was made for a small person with a small butt. Also, the hole in the middle should be larger. The memory foam is a bit on the hard side. I know it needs to be firm to make the pillow work for what it's meant to, but a bit of a softer, squishier feel would have been much more comfortable. It does relieve pressure on the tailbone, but it's just not very comfortable overall.

Comfortable Cushion That Really Reduces Discomfort
This donut cushion is very comfortable and has made sitting for longer periods much easier for me. The shape helps relieve pressure and noticeably reduces the discomfort I usually feel in the tailbone and lower back area. The cover can be removed and washed, which is very convenient and helps keep it clean with regular use. Overall, I’m very happy with it and think it’s a great option if you’re looking for extra comfort and to ease existing pain while sitting.

Cushion sizes are misleading, order a larger size
I bought this for someone who has a tailbone injury, not yet clearly diagnosed, but the pain was intolerable without this cushion. This was the answer to relief, until some point that she heals more or has surgery. The cushion is good quality, and importantly the size x-large just barely fits on top of the seat of her smaller walker, if it were an inch wider, it wouldn't fit in that space. Larger wider walkers won't be a problem. In the car though, it raises her up a bit higher than she'd like, but at least it gives pain relief. My friend weighs around 175lbs, and this is the right size for her. She's a womens size 18 pant size. These cushions seemed to be sized a little small so go 1 size up which is what I did. My friends doctor said a size large would fit, but I ordered the next size, and it's correct. The Doctor was wrong!
