I am super happy with them
I am super happy with them, however, they were obviously made by a heartless machine, shipped in a cardboard box, and were in need of some much needed love. Luckily there is a community bike shop in my area so i was able to use some resources like guidance, tools, and supplies. The inner rim of the rear wheel was chipped and a sharp piece of aluminum from the edge was jutting toward the inside. Was able to easily break off the aluminum sliver and sand down the inside of the rim with some sandpaper. Also when i spun the wheels in my hand they felt kind of gritty. Bearings clamped down too tight. Too tight it grinds, too loose it wobbles, as the nice bike volunteer guy explained. Backed off the outer/inner nuts, retightened, untightened, repeat, until just right for both front and back. Bright green neon, no logo, who cares though, like em better no logo. Also not machined rim, which is weird because even fixed geared fools often use a front brake. the rim of the rims can be sanded to use with caliper or cantilever or just do like me and run em til the paint comes off, as long as you don't mind the squeak of breaking them in. Lastly, the green paint glows alright, but my green grips glow brighter. If you want bright, you should choose these wheels in white. In the world of glow in the dark, white or translucent usually glows the best. All in all, I'm way stoked with the results, they look fresh on my velo. :-)

So far, so good.
Apart from not having the logo, the wheels are just as described. I haven't ridden them yet, but even without really great packaging for shipping, they are not significantly out of true and definitely rideable out of the box. They are sweet looking, can't wait to get them on my bike! As for how effective the glow in the dark paint is, I don't know yet. Last thing, if you're looking for a relatively light wheelset, these aren't for you; these are heavy and will likely put up with some more aggressive riding. For shipping, my feedback would be you really need to use some sort of wrap around the wheels to prevent paint damage and other physical damage to the wheels. There are minor scratches and black marks from the poor quality packaging. The axles had broke through the box on both sides. I'm very surprised there wasn't significant damage.

Nice Wheelset! Some issues though.
I got the wheelset in a beat up box... There was a hole in the box from the skewer and they covered it with a patch of cardboard... So I was pretty skeptical about the condition... I took the wheels out and they were really nice! Looking closer at it... It was really dirty... don't know why. Now the green paint. It was pretty chipped up, there's particles in the paint.. And since its paint the glow isn't really consistent. But it glows! Pretty nicely too! I love these wheels, they match with my bikes colors. Other than that. If it was taken care of more while being shipped here or while in storage, I'd most definitely recommend this to my friends.

We'll see how they truly are soon enough
The good:They're definitely cool. Not a doubt about that. I like the lack of logos. They seem to be relatively true out of the box.The bad:There are chips in the finish. That's lame, the box was incredibly beat up when it got to me.There was a rattling in the rims. Turns out it was aluminum chips that were left over from machining. C'mon Pure Fix, that's lame follow up the work, take out the machining chips before the finish goes on.The back wheel's weld seam seems iffy. It looks like it might be noticeable when braking. We'll see. I'll update the review when I've gotten some riding in.

Very cool effect, some workmanship issues, you get what you pay for.
If you buying these for the price point and the cool look I say go for it, if you are buying them for performance or quality, go elsewhere. This wheelset is very inexpensive and it shows in the workmanship. The wheels were not 100% true out of the box but a few minutes on the true stand did the trick. Make sure you tighten the fixed cog and lockring because I almost did a handlebar endo on my first ride as the fixed ring came loose. The decals are ultra cheap, and they are very heavy. I used to race on all carbon wheels so my idea of heavy might be different from yours. Once you get them rolling they are very smooth and fit my tires very well. The glow effect is super cool at night.

Not Red, Watermelon
I like the design and the thick rim of the wheel. I put some Kendra Karvs 700 x 28mm on here and they fit great and ride well. They also have both fixed and single gear on the rear wheel which is convenient. Some dissapointments: - They do not "glow" as much as I expected, but they do glow. Glow is tame. - They are relatively heavy for wheels. - THEY ARE NOT RED. Seriously, these are salmon, watermelon, coral pink, whatever you want to call it. They are not red. They still look okay on my bike and do their job, but now everyone tells me "nice pink wheels bro" and it is getting old. I probably would have returned them because of the color issue, however I already had to send a pair back because I received the yellow glow ones. I really didn't feel like shipping the package back twice. For this, I give this product two stars.

The glow is fun. Trued
The paint chips - A LOT. The glow in the dark paint aint even all that. You have to be riding in absolute darkness to enjoy it. Makes for a cool night light though. The rims themselves are attractive, sturdy, and the rim tape is well installed. After a year with these guys, im ginna dip it in paint stripper and keep them chrome.

were's the red? it's PINK
Red I don't think so. Exited to receive this and when I open it they were PINK. I don't want PINK. I'm trying to go red and black with my specialized. Now I'm stuck either I try to paint it and loose the glow or just toss it in the garage and call it. It also came damage on the outside too from hitting each other. Can't return it cause it's not refundable.Very not happy with the color at all...

They sent me the wrong color.
They sent me Green instead of Yellow, so I have to rate this item low, but if I did order green it seemed like the wheels were fine.
