I really love MuckBoots Daily Garden Shoes
I really love MuckBoots Daily Garden Shoes. I bought these as a replacement for an older pair that has seen me through season after season of gardening. To order the new pair, I looked at the size of the old ones that fit perfectly - for gardening shoes - those are loose enough to slip on an off easily, small enough to wear with bare feet, big enough to accommodate socks. The old ones are size 7-71/2 Men / 8 - 81/2 Women. That size was not listed for the newer model of the shoes, but I have never worn a 9 so I chose the 7Men / 8Women - The European size was what I normally wear.I am disappointed that the new shoes are a little snug. I hope when the inner lining flattens with wear that they will become a better fit. I think had I gone up to a 8 Men / 9 Women, I would have been tripping over the toe. This is my only complaint and if it works out the way I hope, it will be fine. In every other way, they are great shoes.

Not as sturdy as the barn Mucks
The price was right but I had the fancier Mucks before and they not only fit more comfortably but also felt far sturdier. Well, that is to be expected - these are a garden shoe, and the ones I had before were more of a barn shoe. The one thing I dislike about these is that I cannot just slip my foot into them, I have to flip the back of the shoe up to get my foot in because it is far less rigid than the heel on my previous pair of Mucks and gets bent over if I just stick my foot in. When I am running out to do barn chores in the morning, I prefer to waste as little time as possible (and do as little bending over as possible). The soles also feel thinner on these so I don't expect they will last as long as my previous pairs did, which was 2 years apiece (we hike our dogs on a lot of rocky logging roads here in Oregon and the shoes take a beating). But these were on sale, and I was feeling stingy.

Love my Muck Boots!
I love my Muck Boots! They are everything that they are advertised to be. They are waterproof and very easy to clean. The elastic trim does a great job of keeping the dirt out. They are easy on and easy off (just one hand to slip on), which makes going in and out of the house much nicer. I just slip them off at the door, and after a quick break they are back on in no time. My wife really appreciates the fact that I don't track mud and dirt through the house any more. The greatest thing about my Muck Boots is the comfort. I am a 220-pound guy who does not tip toe around my yard work. I storm through it with a lot of hustle and energy. As a result, my feet usually take a beating. Not any more, with my Muck Boots my feet stay comfortable and happy all day. The ventilation is great. Even after working 9 hours in 105-degree heat, my feet remained not only clean, dry, and comfortable, but also remarkably cool. I can't say that about the rest of me, just my happy feet. These shoes are easily worth the price. They are about a half size larger than all my other shoes and boots. A thicker pair of athletic socks fixes this. Great boots, great comfort!

Best slip on/slip off yard shoes ever
I bought a pair of these 12 years ago when Costco carried them for an unbelievably low cost. I have used them almost every day, summer and winter to go in and out of the house without tracking in dirt, dust, snow, etc. They have been great. However, after 12 years I had warn the tread off to where they were slick in the snow. They also had started to deterriorate along the rim and made them harder to put on and off without using two hands.I waited for years for Costco to carry them again, but no luck. Finally I bought a pair from Amazon. I choked at the price, but after getting them and seeing and remembering how wonderful they were when they were new, I know that they are worth every penny. I wear a men's size 13 and buy size 13 in these shoes. With socks or not, they are stiff enough to slip on without using my hands. Once on, they hang on and are ready for mud, slush, ice, snow etc. You won't regret these and they will give you YEARS of service.

These shoes are realy comfortable in the garden and the yard
These shoes are realy comfortable in the garden and the yard, especially early in the morning when the due is heavy. The are durable and easy to slip on and off. I wear them most of the summer and many times in the winter for short trips in to the yard when the snow is not too deep. My last pair developed a crack in the side but I still use them when it is not too wet. My new pair is to fill in the times when it is wetter than normal. Hopefully they will not develop a crack like the older pari and will last for a long time.

BEST SHOES I HAVE EVER OWNED
BEST SHOES I HAVE EVER OWNED. I WAS FIRST INTRODUCED TO "MUCK SHOES" AT SAM'S CLUB UNDER THE NAME "LEWIS AND CLARK" FOR MY FIRST FOUR PAIR, WHEN I WENT BACK FOR MORE I WAS INFORMED SAMS CLUB NO LONGER CARRIED THEM. SO THEN THE SEARCH WAS ON AND ENDED UP AT AMAZON.COM . I NOW OWN 12 PAIR NOT COUNTING THE 4 PAIR THAT I HAVE COMPLETELY WORN OUT. I HAVE A PAIR OR TWO AT EVERY ENTRANCE TO THE HOUSE. TWO PAIR IN THE BARN, FOUR PAIR AT MY CABIN IN THE MOUNTAINS AND ONE PAIR IN EACH AUTO AND TRUCK JUST IN CASE. AS YOU CAN SEE I LIKE THEM. THAT REMINDS ME I NEED TO ORDER ANOTHER PAIR IN CAMO. PS: THE BEST THING ABOUT THESE SHOES IS THEY ARE COMPLETELY WATER PROOF AND LAST A LONG LONG TIME, EVEN WHEN THEY ARE WORN OUT YOU CAN RETIRE THEM TO THE BARN OR GARDEN AND STILL GET MORE GOOD SERVICE OUT OF THEM. GOOD LUCK "THE END" PSS; THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF STYLES FOR MEN,WOMEN, AND KIDS.

Can't be without them
I wore out a pair of these over some years and had to get another; it's a great product. They slip on and off evenly, can be worn for long periods of time, and are just fine to go out into the world with--not for dinner but for errands. When I take the dogs out in the morning, they keep my feet dry, and when I work in the garden, they keep the mud from getting in the house. I wish they came in half sizes--I wear an 11 1/2 and the 12 I got is a bit too big, but a pair of thick socks does the trick (though socks aren't necessary for these to be comfortable.)

they are indeed "short" They were comfortable in width and the sole is sturdy and supportive ...
They were just too short. I read the reviews that they fit small and decided to try them as I sometimes fit into a size 7 1/2 (i bought a size 8). However, they are indeed "short" They were comfortable in width and the sole is sturdy and supportive but I could tell that my toes would start jamming after a little bit of wear. As I bought them to work in the garden and do my landscaping chores in (so, I would be wearing them for long periods of time) I decided I would indeed need to return them. I am tempted to try a man's style but will probably track down a store that sells them in person so that I can try on before I buy again. Because they only come in whole sizes I am a little nervous to try a size 9, without being able to try before I buy, as I don't want them to floppy either.

My second pair
I have had a pair of Original Muckboots garden shoe for so long that rims are tattered and the printing with the size erased. But the basic shoe is as sturdy and leakproof as ever. I wanted a pair for the back door as well and am deeply happy that these are identical and will last much longer, I suspect, than I will. How nice it is to find something that worked when you bought it 20 or more years ago, and still hasn't been "improved", iow, made more cheaply.

Begeistert

Don't dream too big. Smaller is better.
These are stunning shoes, but they are very wide. Order one size smaller than your normal shoe size. I returned mine today for a size 9 (M), size 10 (W). The size 10 (M), size 11 (W) was way too wide and I have wide feet.. If the smaller size works, I will be a very happy buyer.

Slip-on Protection
I have had a pair very similar to these for about10 years but they are now wearing out so needed a replacement. I have found that they are ideal just for slipping out into the garden on a damp day that is not wet enough to justify full length ' Wellies' I was slightly disappointed in that the new pair has a raised back making them less easy to slip on whereas the original pair was easier to slip on wearing thick socks. Otherwise they are fine.
