Direct to Rust Metal Paint

Expensive but best protective paint.

Great little pot of paint, covers well. Just brush off loose rust with a nail brush or other hard brush then paint the area. I only needed to use one coat on my aged metal bench to make it look great again. The black is not too glossy so it doesn't ruin the antique patina if you brush lightly. It dries really quickly and doesn't seem to drip or run so easy to use

I purchased this to paint part of a galvinised bike frame. The application was easy and the paint held well. It dried within the specified time and really didn't need a second coat. After a secondary coat it looked even richer and solid. It really does exactly what it says on the tin. It's a resistant and applicable paint for difficult surfaces (galvinised) and would recommend this for the odd jobs and those that require a decent level of finish. It definitely forms a hard and resistant coating which is what I needed and this delivers on all expectations. A little goes a long way and the small tin would cover the range it suggests. Also I did not require any primer I just painted it straight on, all I did do was smooth the surface by removing rust and pitting. It also filled any low spots quite well. Definitely a thick paint for the application. I would use thinners to clean brushes afterwards and wear gloves when using this as it does stick! and in a well ventilated area as it does smell quite a bit as it dries. Hope this helps.
