The resulting clean floor was sufficient proof that it works as expected. I like clean floors, but I don't much like spending ages cleaning them. This does a better job in less time than using a mop and bucket, so I'm very happy with it. My only slight concern is that the grippers on the side might not last ... if they fail, I'll report back. A little on the expensive side . My first one lasted seven years before the springs went on the mop head which hold the cloths in place. I'm not complaining about that . It's had a lot of use. However it would be good if the company would offer a replacement head rather than having to replace the whole thing.
