Such minerals are used in fish growth, metabolism and other physiological functions. General hardness minerals can decrease over time due to influx of rainwater, soft tap water and biological processes using these minerals. - 【EASY TO USE】: To work out the required dosage for your pond, simply calculate the volume of your pond in litres (length x width x depth (in cm)/1000) or alternatively, use our Online Dosage Calculator. Dissolve the powder in a bucket of pond water before adding to the pond. - 【USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH NT LABS TEST KITS】: Use NT Labs Hardness Test Kit to measure the GH of the pond water. Always keep the GH above 8 dGH for optimal water quality. GH Minerals Up can also be used to provide additional general hardness where tap water is naturally low in hardness minerals. - 【 SUITABLE FOR ALL POND KEEPERS 】: The ease of use of Koi Care GH Minerals Up means it is perfect for use by beginners and seasoned pond keepers alike. - [ MADE IN BRITAIN ] : Proudly formulated and manufactured in the UK to strict quality, environmental and safety standards, delivering exceptional product reliability you can trust. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00AHA2HIQ | | Best Sellers Rank | 48,123 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 202 in Water Garden & Pond Treatment | | Brand Name | NT Labs | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (64) | | Included Components | Powder | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Highlight | Essential mineral elements increase general hardness of pond water to maintain an optimal habitat for pond life. | | Item Type Name | Pond Fish Food | | Liquid Volume | 1.5 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | NT Labs | | Manufacturer Part Number | 00425 | | Model Number | NT Labs | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pet Type | Fish | | Target Species | Fish | | UPC | 733809004251 | | Unit Count | 5000.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Brand:** NT Labs - **Item form:** Powder - **Liquid volume:** 1.5 Kilograms - **Manufacturer:** NT Labs - **Unit count:** 5000.0 gram ## Images ![Koi Care GH Minerals Up (1.5kg) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Th01lr4iL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can you use with pump feed ponds** A: Yes. No probs. As far as i understand its also benificial to your filter . Used it for a couple of years now along with kh up. And koi clay. All good . **Q: What’s is a ratio mg to ca ?** A: No idea, all I do know if the water hardeness is well below the 8dh level the pond quality will function less, due to a depletion of minerals in the water, which in turn can affect the fish plus the PH level, best contact NT labs for more information, that's why I check mine on a regular basis along with other chemical tests --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/53170368-koi-care-gh-minerals-up-1-5kg](https://www.desertcart.is/products/53170368-koi-care-gh-minerals-up-1-5kg) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
