Service Kit

I only needed one part of this entire kit, which meant it was a little expensive for me, but the part I needed is not sold separately. The large lower white cog can be found separately, but I needed that whole sprocket assembly. The sheer weight also meant the postage is quite a bit. But it was REALLY easy to fit and fixed my garage opener (branded Wicks) in less than one hour. I found a video on YouTube that showed how to fit the sprocket without having to take the opener off the ceiling - this save a huge amount of time. The video was 100% accurate. The product is US, so the nuts are metric, but they can also be undone with a Philips screw driver.

Comprehensive kit of replacement parts. Easy to fit if you follow the instructions. Just a shame it is much more expensive that the US sourced kit

My Garador unit stripped the worm drive gears making the mechanism useless, a quick YouTube search on how to replace this resulted in this purchase. As a mechanic by trade this was a simple strip down and replacement. The door is a lot quieter in its operation and smoother making me think this was on the way out for sometime. All the parts worked perfectly for my opener and I’m very happy.
