Great product

It is a cute camera but the battery life is not the best. It has lasted 4 hours max for me.

I bought this for my daughter who wanted it to replace a bigger, heavier SLR camera that she had been using. She tells me that it’s a great camera of perfect size and weight for portability. The quality of both the picture and sound is on a par with the SLR and the battery lasts for several hours.

The Canon PowerShot V10 Vlogging Starter Kit places Canon’s “entry level” vlogging camera, the Powershot V10 centre stage where the enjoyment and benefits you’ll get from it will almost directly correlate to how high end your smart phone is. It’s difficult not to use the PowerShot V10 without directly comparing it to my smartphone. The battery is nowhere comparable, the 2inch screen’s quality is great but obviously can only display so much on its tiny screen, so you may think you’re in focus when you’re not. The quality of both video and photos are great but depth is quickly lost in distance, so cityscapes or forests are a lot more difficult to film than structured indoor sets. However, they’re pretty much the summary of all the negatives I’ve encountered. I don’t want the negatives to come across as overalls negative, as the PowerShot V10 is a fantastic entry level vlogging camera. The starter kit itself feels complete - with audio shield, lens shield and carry case (which is less of a case and pretty much a carry bag). The build quality of these pieces could be better (would have preferred a hard case, the lens shield falls off far too easily) but it does feel complete and are still good companion pieces. The shell design of PowerShot V10 is outright amazing. It feels like a real decent piece of kit in the hand and it’s a super impressive to use. The inbuilt kickstand is insanely practical and useful, the swivel touchscreen is small but very responsive and the UI is easy to use without browsing the instructions. This is all boosted by the impeccable Canon Camera Connect mobile app which unlocks all sorts of smart functions from the camera quick and easily. I wish the shoot button doubled as the power button on hard press as that’s the only thing that feels unnatural with the shell design but everything else is spot on. When it comes down to it, my ultimate recommendation would be dependent on your smartphone. If you have the latest, top of the range Android or Apple phone - then your smartphone’s camera will be better than the PowerShot V10 and your smartphone will be a better experience. If you have an entry, mid range or older smartphone, then the PowerShot V10 really comes into its own and it’s features really make a great smartphone companion.

Simply to use and easy to get on with I’m not good with tech but this was easy peasy and gets lots of use now 👍

Compact and very clear filming.

Camera works but items were missing in the original box. It is supposed to come with two Mic covers but I was only sent one. This is not good as I can’t cover each Microphone to protect from wind. I didn’t have enough time to send the item back before it was needed. I called Canon, they could not send an extra cover as they no longer have the distributer.

Awful product. A big let down as it looked great initially however can’t win em all

L’ho acquistata per regalo di comunione ad un vlogger in erba quindi non posso dare un giudizio sul funzionamento. Fuori dalla scatola mi è sembrato un prodotto realizzato molto bene e robusto, carino il treppiedi incorporato nella scocca e notevoli i due microfoni stereo. Il piccolo monitor touch funziona molto bene. Insomma non è la solita cinesata. Qualche problema con la app e l’accoppiamento con il cellulare. Detto ciò videocamera molto valida per quello che ho visto.

Ich habe mehrere VLOG Kameras. Diese ist eindeutig die am meisten Eingesetzte: Aus der Tasche, Lavaliermikrofon reinstecken und Aufnahmen in bester Qualität. Viele Kameras bieten nur Funkstrecken (geht hier auch), aber bis man alles ausgepackt hat, angeschlossen und einsatzbereit, da ist das Motiv längst über alle Berge. Ich habe die Kamera aufgepimpt: Vorne Filter verklebt mit Objektivdeckel, einen Kamerakäfig und eine Schnellwechselplatte für Selfiestick oder Stativ. Ich bin so glücklich, dass ich mir gleich noch eine Weitere geholt habe. Zum fest verbauten Akku: Wer damit Probleme hat, nimmt eine Powerbank zusatzlich oder wie ich einfach eine zweite Kamera. Einzig, dass ich die Kamera zu schnell drehe, dass kann die Stabilisierung nicht ausgleichen - liegt aber an mir! Für mich ist die Kamera die Nummer eins.

J’ai acheté cette caméra pour faire des vlogs la qualité est superbe, la caméra est super facile d’utilisation et on comprend vite comment tout fonctionne. Je recommande !

Eigentlich ist sie Quatsch! Zoom fehlt. Qualität von Fotos ganz gut. Selfi machen perfekt in der Hand Ton ist auch sehr gut.

Da una camera con questo prezzo, ci si aspetta quantomeno una stabilizzazione decente e che non vada fuori fuoco ogni secondo in condizione di luce ottimale . La Insta 360go2 che è poco più di un giocattolo pocket, lascia in braghe di tela la suddetta. La restituirò perché con un iPhone 6 ci fai ik triplo. Una cosa a suo vantaggio ( ecco il motivo delle due stelle ), è il peso. Pesa quanto un pacco di Marlboro
