RE: HANSGO Sugarcane Straws, 200PCS These straws are great! Don't let the "Sugarcane" fool you. They aren't sweet; they've got no taste. They just feel good in the mouth - so much nicer than paper or plastic. These straws don't disintegrate or turn to mush like paper straws do. They don't crack and they aren't brittle like plastic straws often are. I have kept one of these straws standing in a glass all day which I continue refilling with water and tea all day long and by the end of the day, both ends of the straw are still perfectly in tact. I've even added hot tea to my glass and the straw remains firm. I am so happy I found these. I hope they are never discontinued.

These sugarcane straws have become one of my favorite travel hacks. If you’ve been to resorts in Mexico, Costa Rica, or the Caribbean lately, you already know ... plastic straws are mostly gone, and what’s offered instead (if anything) is often those paper ones that go limp halfway through your drink. I know a lot of people pack reusable metal straws when they travel, but I’m just not that person. I lose things constantly, and I really don’t love the idea of cleaning straws while I’m in a place where the tap water isn’t potable. Plus, I don’t want to spend half my vacation rinsing gunk out of a straw. Enter these compostable sugarcane straws ... total game-changer. I take a handful with me on every trip. They’re super lightweight, totally guilt-free, and I can toss them after using without any waste anxiety. They don’t get soggy like paper, and they hold up just fine for cocktails, smoothies, iced coffee ... you name it. I even use them at home now. They’re great in cold drinks, and even hold up surprisingly well in warm ones (I use them for matcha lattes around 150–160°F with no issue). They can warp a bit if you go hotter than that, so I wouldn’t use them for boiling liquids - but that’s expected with any plant-based straw.

I LOVE these straws. Have repurchased twice and will continue. I love that they are eco friendly since they don't contain plastic, and look so nice displayed on our counter. They are true to size, and the perfect width for any drink. They do not bend, which I prefer. Would highly recommend!

I love these straws. I've ordered them twice & they're my favorite. They're not great for hot beverages (they "melt"), but who really uses straws for hot beverages? These straws are 1000x better than paper straws & even though re-use isn't the typical use, I've rinsed & re-used these back-to-back for 3-5 beverages before seeing any degrading, so they won't fall apart on you if you use the same straw for a beverage that takes you hours to finish, or if you use the same straw for multiple beverages all day long. I've purchased other compostable/biodegradable straws that crack & fail to function, but these haven't cracked or failed me so far. If you're looking for bendy-straws, these straws do not bend, but I don't have a need for those, so these work perfectly well for me. Lastly, these straws are about 1in-1.5inches taller than your standard full-sized drinking glass, for those wondering about size. The hole diameter is average-sized, not larger like the ones you'd use for milkshakes, smoothies, or boba, and not smaller, like the straws that come with juice-boxes or CapriSun.

These straws work great for our iced coffee. They are sturdy and don't dissolve, no weird taste either. The texture is a bit gritty, but barely noticeable. I love that they are eco-friendly.
