Leather case with Pen Holder for Remarkable 2,Distressed Folio Organizer for Remarkable 2 Tablet

I picked up a Remarkable 2 and the prices for the cases were eye watering. Never mind the fact that they charge almost $150 for an aluminum tube (stylus) but charging a similar price for a piece of cardboard covered with thin leather? And those didn't have any way of securing that crazy expensive stylus? No thank you. This case looks rugged, but is still classic enough to be seen in any boardroom across the country. Over time this will develop it's own patina creating a truly unique look. The overall construction is top notch with the stitching clean and sharp, the leather is nice and thick, and the attention to detail phenomenal. When I first opened it I found some areas to be a little TOO stiff - the case wouldn't fold open and getting the stylus in and out of the case was a challenge but after just a little bit of breaking in everything has loosened right up making it perfectly usable. The ONLY gripe I have is that the case can slide around a bit when closed because of the size of the fold in the middle. It was left a generous size to let the case open in landscape mode but sometimes the top and bottom sides of the case get just a little crooked. Honestly - minor issue and I suspect I can solve it with a little application of small magnets to help hold the case in place. Overall I'm so impressed with this that I've gone looking on the sellers page just to see what other leather products they make that I can buy. Honestly - it's THAT good.

Well made case. Stitching is top notch and the tablet and pen fit well. Everything is snug at first, but I know it will break in as time goes on. Not to mention the leather looks awesome and gives the new tech notebook an old school feel. I've gotten so many compliments on how great it looks. I can't wait for it to develop its own unique patina. I had a different case at first, but disliked the lack of pockets and storage. This one has multiple pockets to stick business cards, papers (folded), etc. They are not huge pockets, which is good because it keeps you from sticking too much stuff in there.

At first for whatever reason I wasn't crazy about this folio. I decided to use it and after a week I was sold. The leather is very high quality. I really like the hand stitching. The inside has a pocket for actual paper if needed and a business card holder which I actually use. Most importantly it holds the remarkable 2 very well. I primarily use this when I'm not in my office. Understand that it will scratch as you'll see in the pictures. It's advertised as distressed and I really like the look. My only concern is that the new Remarkable Pro was just released. I'm hoping there is a folio for this model as I'll likely be returning my Remarkable 2 in favor of the new model.

This tablet cover is very manly and I like it. Quality leather with a minimalist design sporting a smooth exterior and rough leather finish inside having a nice strong leather smell even after 2 months of use. Exterior does show scratches and abrasions, but that is part of its leathery charm. Tablet and pen fits fairly snug in the cover. This simple cover has a card holder and paper storage sleeves that really isn't meant to hold a lot of additional crap. Fit and finish of the cover itself is rough cut with unfinished edges. If you like leather, this is a really nice accessory for your re-Markable.

I was concerned it wouldn't hold the remarkable in place very well, but so far so good. I've received compliments for how it looks, but it's odd that it doesn't have a buckle/snap/tie closure to keep the portfolio closed... feels like a big oversight.
