Worth every penny
I’m not a professional by any means but I have to snake my main sewer twice a year. I live in the neighborhood where the trees are over 200 years old they’re huge and they know how to fight! Until now I’ve always had to get professional plumbers out here to correct the problem and that price hovers right around 700 bucks per visit. So I’ve been in the same home for over 25 years do the math. That all ended the day I got this machine delivered to my door. This thing is a beast, and it was so easy. It was like the machine was doing all of the work. One thing I will say it is heavy to get it to the basement. My son-in-law helped me take it down the steps, but there will sit for the next six months until it’s time to go to work again. I can’t say enough about this machine. I don’t know how long it will last it feels quality it performs like a high-end machine and I am very happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend 100%.

Backed up kitchen sink
Locally there were none available with the length this machine had. The kitchen sink has backed up before over the years. Worked perfectly and now we don’t have to call a plumber

Stupid Mistake by the manufaturer.
This was a very bad experience. Went through the wait and I begin to assemble it the handle did not align properly. Very frustrating. For a small mistake by the manufacturer I had to go through the process of assemble and disassemble this whole thing. And my drain problem still exist. I don't know how did this item passed QC.

Love it
I have never owned a machine like this before. That being said this was easy to use. It did take me a few minutes to understand the extend and retract feature, but once I sorted that out this thing was no problem.

Gets the job done at a fair price
This is a good value drain machine but please know it is not your "forever" machine. meaning if you use it a lot and for tough jobs it won't last forever. But at this price it easily pays for itself, and you can always purchase a replacement and still not have spent the big bucks larger models cost.

Challenging in Many Ways
I bought the 3/4" model because my sewer problem is always the main line to the street. The unit arrived more quickly than scheduled. It was nicely packed though the frame which accepts the handle was damaged but could be bent back with pliers. With no damage to the packing it must have left the factory that way. The assembly instructions were incomplete, The larger lock washers went somewhere on the wheels but I've never figured out where the shorter bolts and lock washers go. The unit weighs 180 lbs (!!!) and though I'm 71 the machine and I made it down the basement stairs. There are some videos online which can give a bit more confidence in using the machine but the most important fact is in the instructions: keep one hand on the cable and the other on the direction lever. Once you hit an obstruction the cable starts flopping and kinking and within seconds and you need to throw it in reverse (with the lever, not the switch) or the cable will become an angry, flopping, knotting piece of steel. The first time this happened the cable pulled the glove (WEAR HEAVY GLOVES!) off my hand with the glove finger tapped in the knotted cable. It would have been very serious for my finger. I bought the 2" clog chopper because in one of the videos one of the supplied tools broke in the pipe on the first use. Even with the clog chopper roots stopped progress and it was necessary to quickly back up and attack again and again. The most frustrating part was that it appeared the cable was moving forward but in fact it wasn't. Since the cable is spinning it looks and feels like it's going in but it seemed common for progress to stop without any indication. I think the cable becomes disorganized in the drum. The reverse switch seems to be the solution. A few seconds in reverse and the cable tidied itself. I found doing this every once in a while seemed to help. I was afraid the clog chopper would wear a hole in the pipe during these subtile pauses. It took a few hours the get the cable through as far as it seemed to go. The main is open and I plan to do this a time or two a year to keep on top of the roots and it will hopefully be easier that way. I think if you're dealing with your main drain line the smaller cable would be pure frustration and you'd probably ruin the cable. The 3/4" is an expensive monster but for roots it's probably worth it. You may not want to spend the money but I think the sewer guy I used had at least a one inch cable so I think bigger is really necessary for this job. An important fact I’ve recently learned: not all machines turn in the same direction. My Clog Chopper and the connector on the end of the cable came off in the sewer pipe. I bought the General Wire twist on repair coupling and discovered that it twisted in the opposite direction that the Vevor cable is wound so it would not twist on. I bought the coupling that needs to be welded and paid a lot to get it welded. I bought the General Wire recovery tool to recover the Clog Chopper and discovered that it would need to turn in the opposite direction to be scooping up my Clog Chopper. Everything combined has me thinking that paying to have the work done might be far, far less frustrating and worth while than trying to do it myself.

Il vous dépannera sans problème.
Il sert régulièrement et fait le job. À ne pas mettre entre toutes les mains car une mauvaise utilisation peut endommager le câble et le rendre inutilisable. Pas fait pour un usage intensif
