I purchased one for a friend just recently, as a Christmas gift, and after seeing his I had to have for for myself. These look like no other tape measure so it's impossible for your buddy to accidentally walk off with yours in his tool chest or hanging on his belt. I'm working on two home projects now and every sub who sees my PROBON has to have one so I guess I will be etching my name on mine soon. The quality, smooth action, accuracy, stainless and looks are second to non. Perhaps you should have one too.

The tape had trouble reeling back in i had to extend it out a couple times and then let go to get it to go all the way in.

Easy to read and durable all stainless steel

This thing is amazing best tape I ever bought I like the quality and the markings are perfect and don't fade off and the holes make cleaning easy just hit with air line and no more dust to sand the numbers off

It's a decent tape measure use it daily at work, however it is not stainless steel it's just plastic made to look like stainless steel so if you want the strength of a steel made tape measure I would go elsewhere. I scratched it intentionally with a screwdriver to see if it was steel you can see the black plastic under the paint job on my picture.
