**Q: Does it have enough space to install Samsung 990 pro heat sink version??**
A: You wouldn't need the 990 Pro heatsink as this, and pretty much all external cases, won't even come close to the drive's speed.  Honestly, putting that fast of a drive in an external enclosure is a waste.  I have a Sabrent Rocket PCIe 4 NVMe in the regular Dockase and its barely gets warm and tops out at about 4gbps with large file copies.

**Q: can this be used to backup a desktop or any other computer?**
A: You will need to purchase an NVME Storage Device to accompany with this device. Otherwise, yes. This housing can facilitate a backup.

**Q: Can this be used for storage o pictures, or music, or other data?**
A: Yes

**Q: Is an encrypting variant (including enter PIN on device to access contents) available?**
A: No it's not you need to install some software to encrypt disk data.
