VERY slight damage to one edge when arrived. Still haven't read it yet but Im sure would enjoy it.

Lackluster
I have read this entire series, and truthfully, it has its ups and downs. This volume is no different. Art is the same as in all of Kazuo's works—high quality. Starting with one of the stories, "Eyes." I enjoyed it; it was engaging and horrifying if you put yourself in the main character's shoes. What I mean by frightening ( without getting into spoilers) is learning the truth about your community and being powerless to stop the upcoming threat. That, to me, is frightening. Good job, Kazuo; you made me question my surroundings and neighbors.Now, the final story in the Orochi series. "Blood". I wouldn't say I liked it; it started fine, your typical Kazuo story. In the middle act, I was invested in it. Here comes the final act. And all I have to say is it's petty. It's so petty that it made me roll my eyes. And it ends with no backstory for Orochi, nothing. Just a bad taste in your mouth, and you ask yourself, "What was the point of this? ". That's not how you want to end a series. I could recommend this to people who stuck with Orochi to the end. You could read volume 3 and end it there. I wish I had. For anyone else, Orochi is a decent time, and I don't regret reading it. I wanted it to end on a high note, like in volume 3, that's all.
