These sharpeners are great too use for scissors and knives, they both work well and wouldn't use any other product to hone or sharpen knives and scissors. I'd fully recommend them if you aren't capable with a steel or stone or not sure how to use it. You'll be looking for things to sharpen around the house!

I semi care about sharp knives and have dabbled with all the usual worlds best sharpeners, electric sharpeners and both oil and water whetstones. To start with, nothing beats a whetstone but for me I can’t be bothered with the effort these days. The product seems to be like every other sharpener, ie two hard metal plates in the shape of a v through which your draw your knife. I tried it on a few knives, some sharp, some super dull and found that this does sharpen but pulls a lot of material off for not the sharpest edge. Good for if in a hurry, as a maintenance edge, bad for expensive knives and ones with a really nice sharp edge. Build quality, we’re talking two twenty pence pieces of plastic molded together with a pencil sharpener at the end. This is a sub £10 product and not 20 which is what I paid. Tried the scissor one and unconvinced.

Easy to use and decent price, can never find these ones in shops so was happy with price to order online.

I really love these Knife/scissors sharpeners, my old one wore out. These are so nice and are very simple to use, just 4 or 5 strokes and the knives/scissors are much sharper. I definitely recommend.
