It spreads beautifully with a palette knife, holds peaks and swirls perfectly without slumping, and stays flexible once dry so it doesn’t crack even on larger or slightly flexing canvases. I love how it sands super smooth if I want refined edges or builds up thick for dramatic 3D effects. Dries to a nice white base that takes acrylic paint like a dream—no flashing, no weird sheen, and excellent adhesion. great product, easy to use and sand

Slow to dry but great for cracks

I had some cosmetic cracks in the ceiling. I used this DAP Alex Flex Flexible Spackling before painting. It dries very hard, is easy to sand and is holding up very well without re-cracking. Very pleased.
