JOCCA 6414 Stainless Steel Hob Cover Protector, Silver, 60.5 x 52.5 x 5.5 cm

Before I bought this I read the reviews and was a bit concerned about the quality and also the damage due to poor packaging and handling. I think I got lucky, because what I received is exactly as the photos, fits over my gas hob perfectly and looks great. I think it's overpriced, but as other people have said, where else can you find one. My two ring induction hob sits on top which has freed up worktop space. Very pleased.

The fit is perfect it looks good and clean fab.

This hob cover is very nice but arrived a bit warped. It was quite level when I placed on my worktop so would have lived with it. However, although I measured my hob very accurately and also my hubby did too we thought the size of this would fit easily. However, when we tried it we found that the curved corners of the cover didn't quite fit my hob. Had the corners been square it may have. I didn't want to risk chipping my new enamel hob so decided to return it. I'm sad as it would have been perfect to keep the dust off when not in use. A good buy for a smaller hob.

The hob certainly looks better with it than without. And it gives additional worktop space, which is great in a small kitchen. But it’s flimsy, warps and bends easily (especially if you put something weighty on top), and is highly polished so shows up every mark and fingerprint. Overall, expensive for what it is - I’d recommend getting one of the printed toughened glass ones instead - they’re cheaper, stronger and easier to clean.

Fits perfectly, looks great and very useful to have extra counter space

Some photos look like there is a grey plastic piece on top of this lovely silver hob cover, happy to say there is not! Although very strong, don’t think I’d risk putting a ninja on top, however covers ugly gas hobs , a really stunning cover, fits exactly. Although no damage, needs more protective packaging

This is the perfect size that I looked for.

Pleased with the look, but the product has sharp metal edges that cut your fingers. I use a tea towel to pick up the cover.
