The sandbags help hold it down. It is easy to set up and take down. A bit smaller than I expected, but it will keep four people mostly in the shade. I also like that the floor part that extends also doubles as a door so that we can zip up the tent and add a layer of deterrent to any pickpockets at the beach. I would recommend bringing something better than the tent pegs to stake down the awning poles.
