Floris London Santal Eau de Toilette

Excellent

I've been using this since 2007 when for some unknown reason Gucci decided to stop producing the EDT Envy for men. This was suggested as a close match but for me it isn't, however I do like it for what it is. The nice thing about it is that it doesn't smell like 90% of the young shavers who overdo their Hugo Boss in an effort to be sophisticated. This is a scent for more mature users and the fact that it's not readily available in the high street pharmacies or airport duty free means it's out of the reach of most men without a nose for a quality product. (maybe I sound like a Floris snob but it does have royal approval). The price is high but that's to be expected for a scent that isn't mass marketed and relies on quality rather than quantity. It leaves a distinct scent that gets you noticed and is strong enough so you don't need to splash it all over, a couple of sprits from the spray is enough. Like a lot of Floris scents it is not really gender specific but personally I see it as a masculine scent. Certainly not a flowery one.

Top quality, not the cheapest. Do not buy the aftershave because it’s cheaper, smell doesn’t last, get the edt.

Classic scent

Very subtle, slightly sweet lemony smell when first put on, feels expensive on the skin but the effect is very short lived. If you are looking for an unobtrusive Eau de Toilette for a day at the office then this might be it. If, on the other hand you want something strong enough for an office party or a nights dancing then look elsewhere. Any smell this has is gone within about 20 mins, no matter how good someones nose is (I tried it on 11 family members, none could smell anything after that time). I was surprised as I've used, and use Floris No89 aftershave which lasts much longer on the skin. So, is it worth £75, well as I like to still have something about me an hour or so after shaving, then for me, not in this life, £15 tops. UPDATE: Having used this a little more and had several positive comments I have upped the stars to 3.

Bought this as my last bottle had run out. Perfume had changed slightly but still nice. Paid a great price before it back went up to £80.

My UK girlfriend liked this years ago but hard to get outside UK especially in Canada so ordered on Amazon.

Fragancia magnifica, personal y sumamente elegante. Podria ser un perfume firma para todos los dias, aunque prefiere el otoño e invierno. Masculino, aromatico, madera, especias, incienso, almizcle y vainilla, todo perfectamente conjugado. No proyecta mucho, estela moderada y su longevidad en mi piel fue de unas 7/8 hrs. Muy recomendable si buscas un aroma diferente y con mucha clase.
