Returned it because it didn’t work for us but it was my mistake!
I was trying to use this as an adapter for my docking station to a computer that doesn’t have a usb-c port. After I returned it, I realized I probably needed to download the driver for the docking station to that computer and I didn’t do that, so that may have been the issue. I’d try it again if we didn’t find another solution.

Mine does not work. I am not sure if it is the user error on my side but I tried various approach and read carefully the information on this site and tons of comments from other buyers. I just want to connect my xreal air 2 pro to my nintendo switch and I think this is the correct adapter which I've been searching for. I am not sure if it is just I get unlucky or what. The adapter never output any video signal from the sources (I tried my nintendo and pc) to the display (I tried my monitor and xreal AR glasses). I can only suspect either the adapter is somehow broken or I used it wrong??? UPDATE: The seller sent me a new one and it works like a charm. One interesting detail is that the old one has a micro-usb port on the side while the new one is a usb-c (YES they are unfortunately different adapters). I suspect that is why the old one does not work as expected. It might not supply enough power to my AR glasses.

Fastest dispatch and shipping ever, Got it to connect a TCL nxt s ar glasses to a xbox series x plug and play, searched all over the web to find something like this, this item isn't readily available actually, Shipped from the Us to New Zealand in 6 days pretty impressive actually, on the item description it stated video only and not supporting sound over the conversation, but the sound works great happy

Doesn't work. Top 1/4 of the screen appears on the bottom. Image cut in half.
Doesn't work. I followed the directions given to me. 1 plug in your HDMI 2 plug in the AR glasses xreal air 3 plug in the extra 5v power The top 1/4th of the screen appears on the bottom. I ordered a replacement and the same thing happened again. I would rate this 1 star but I am giving 2 stars because the company was willing to work with me on it. 1st order they refunded me directly and just keep the broken one, as well as the company tried over amazon messages to help me with tec support. Which I did appreciate. 2nd one, the replacement still didn't work so I'm just doing an amazon return. And I'm going to include the first one because I don't need broken devices around my house.

Works perfectly with Viture One
I've tried this with the steam deck (with hub), switch (with hub), and my phone with Samsung dex. It put worked better than the viture one mobil dock. It can be powered from a USB port on the usbc dock.

Hallo, bei mir funktioniert der Adapter perfekt. Da ich an meinen Oled Monitor zu wenig HDMI Eingänge habe brauchte ich diesen Adapter für mein altes Arbeitsnotebook. Habe den USB C Adapter mit Strom versorgt und ein USB C auf DP Kabel am Monitor angeschlossen und es kam sofort ein Bild. Danach habe ich noch ein USB C auf USB C Kabel Versucht auch hier klappt die Verbindung einwandfrei. Kann den Adapter nur empfehlen! Hoffe erhält auch länger und gibt es noch lange zu kaufen. Leider gibt es ja keine Alternativen. Hatte zurvor ein HDMI auf DP aktives Kabel eines anderen Herstellerst das ständig kein Signal ausgab. Hier ist es viel besser! Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Hij doet het prima! Een prima oplossing voor mijn 2 asus zenscreen. Mijn laptop heeft slechts 2 dp usb c poorts. Als ik 2 monitoren wil aansluiten via de usb c poorts heb ik er geen poort meer over voor mijn etherne kabel hub. Nu kan ik een monitor aansluiten via hdmi in en een ander aansluiten via usb c.

Comprei inicialmente para ligar um nintendo switch a uns oculos tcl next wear G, também funciona bem com a PS5, o único reparo de um uso continuado, é a porta lateral de reforço de alimentação Usb tipo 2 ser demasiado frágil e tem dado algumas falhas de alimentação em especial quando se movimenta o aparelho.Estas falhas resultam na perda momentânea de imagem até voltar a ter alimentação.
