Review: Nice safe. Easy to use. Easy to conceal. - The safe is nice. It is a descent size but beware, the key pad/ combination pad on the door does obviously take up some of the space. It works for what we need. Easy to set up. Wasn’t hard to install as long as you know how to cut a hole in the wall properly. I won’t be showing a pic bc it’s a secret. Lol! It’s sturdy, and a little heavy which you would want. It took two of us to put it in the hole but we’re older. I feel it’s a great value and worth buying.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How would you install this on 24" stud spacing?**
A: you would have to screw a 2 ft 2x4 into each side in the middle (take an 8 ft one and cut it into 4 pieces) screw one to the original stud then screw another one into that one. that would bring it in 6 inches. 3 inches on each side and bring it to 18 inches. that would leave you with a one inch gap or less on each side. Id buy some stronger bolts that simply screw straight in. ones given have anchor bolts and I didnt like them but used them.

**Q: How much does the keypad and knob stick out from the flat front?**
A: You could also cut out the sheet rock over the stud along with the square you are cutting out. that would allow the flange to sink all the way in an extra half inch to the wood. then dress up the sheetrock somehow. smooth and paint it.

**Q: Can this safe be securely installed between metal wall studs with mounting provided?**
A: I believe so, but at the very most, you would have to pick up for self tapping, lag bolts.

**Q: What are actual measured dimensions of this product (i.e. exterior dimensions including flange). Interior dimensions?  Wall hole dimensions?**
A: I can't give you an answer at this point, but I wrote a review which was detailed. Not so much about the dimensions as my disappointment- once I installed it, I realized what should have been obvious - the locking mechanism takes up a good 1 - 1/2 inches in the middle of the safe. The depth is not real deep, because it is flush with the drywall - but at least 2". If the center was not taken up with the locking system, I would have been happy.

The safe is nice. It is a descent size but beware, the key pad/ combination pad on the door does obviously take up some of the space. It works for what we need. Easy to set up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Satisfies my needs

Packaged well, arrived undamaged. Install took about 2 hrs. The dimensions of the product that fits between studs is 13.75", rather than the standard dimension of space between 16-inch center studs (14.5). The overall width of the product is not much wider so the drywall hole needs to be cut right at 13.75" wide to ensure that the box sits flush to the wall. I bolted the safe up against one of the studs, leaving a 3/4" gap between the other side of the safe and the other stud. I used a little longer lag bolts on that side to ensure secure attachment. It worked OK. Looks nice. Instructions for operating the locking mechanism/key/keypad was good. Overall, we are happy with it. On sturdiness, the metal box is plenty sturdy, but plastic portion (the lock/unlock knob, key cover plate, and the area all of that is mounted on) is rated a 4. Our goal with this safe is that a thief would have to spend time and make noise in attempting to gain access, or attempt to carry off the safe, which is pretty much the goal with any safe, and it satisfies that goal. So its good.
