It gives me storage, and a place to eat and use my laptop in one space saving unit. A very important thing in a tiny home. I've assembled a LOT of furniture for different jobs over the years and this thing is incredibly solid. The number and size of screws used to assemble it was unlike anything I've ever assembled. If you don't have a huge selection of tools, don't worry. They provide all of the tools necessary including a REAL screwdriver, not some steel rod that resembles a tiny coat hanger with a tip ground into it. If you do have the tools, a cordless screwdriver with a #2 Phillips and a 4 mm hex bit will save you a lot of time. The instructions are well illustrated and give warnings that can save damage to the table. The parts are all marked (leave the numbers on as many parts look alike but aren't) and all hardware is bagged and well marked. The last thing that I'll say about this is that it's a heavy table.
