Men's Promaster Dive Fugu

First, I could do without the ridiculous “tank” and just give me a nice box, instead of a toy. That being said— I am watch collector and this is now my FAVORITE WATCH. Full stop I finally have found a watch that I like better than my Rolex Two-tone “Bluesy” Submariner! I don’t say that casually. This is a truly great watch. Reminiscent styling, but the crown is at the 8 O’clock position. I wear so many different watches hat the day/date function ( at the 3 O’clock position) is of no use. The bracelet is good quality, but a micro adjustment would make this watch perfect!

Watch is quite robust, but sophisticated. Nice to know that it has a 200 meter depth limit. I will probably use it to a maximum of 2 meters, but nice to know I have an extra 198 meter safety margin.

Topical Citizen quality with the 8204 movement. The bracelet is actually good quality as well with solid links and end links, with the usual pins and collars that Citizen uses. This new Fugu edition only has only one flaw and it’s the same one as the older full lume dial model NY0040 had. The dial is illegible in the dark. You would think with a full lume dial it would be great at night but that’s not the case. The hands are also lumed in the same color as the dial and you just can’t see them with the dial glowing. For the first few minuets you can make out the hands after you’ve stepped into a dark room but they quickly fade to the same shade as the dial and are no longer visible. It is a very good looking watch in the daylight as the dial is a unique color and will get noticed. If you don’t care about being able to read it all night long in the dark than it will serve you well. I kinda just consider it a bit of a fun novelty watch. Enjoy!

​I bought this Citizen Fugu at its true value of $509 because I actually appreciate real horology. Seeing Amazon slash the price to $390 so a bunch of discount-hunting bandwagon jumpers could flood the reviews is hilarious. Most of you buying this on clearance probably don't even know the difference between the old 8203 and the upgraded Miyota 8204 mechanical movement inside this beast. You don't know anything about how it holds its mainspring energy or that it actually hacks when you pull the crown. Enjoy your sale, but remember you're wearing a serious tool watch you couldn't appreciate at full price. ​Im using it now to time my lunch break and I love this watch and its 21600 VPH for the price. This is such a beautiful watch the bezel to symbolize the puffer is a nice touch. Then giving it the edges to grip while wearing diver gloves is a great idea. Ive nothing but compliments from other true watch collectors.

Fantastic watch. Pin and collar for the bracelet. Be prepared. The dial is beautiful. Much better in person with attractive variations throughout. I have 6 3/4 inch wrist and I removed 4 links. Not my favorite clasp. Only one adjustment. A little confusing for this style of watch but it works nonetheless. Otherwise I had another clasp at the ready.

I have received today my Citizen watch, I am not impressed I would like to write honest review. I have several watches, Oris , Raymon Weil . This one you can not compare to Oris or Raymond Weil. Citizen sales on their website for 500$, Amazon sales are cheap. They really cheap made. Crown and adjustment mechanism I have filling will brakes soon. Citizen is more than 100 years in busines and produce cheap watch. I have filling no more Nippon quality. Best price I think between 125-150 $

Did look more from china than Japan, feel soft and cheap did not like it at all to the point that I send it back … sorry really not impressed

Produto excelente. Melhor qualidade. Vale a pena . Melhor que comprar relógios baratos que tem aparencia semelhante a muitos outros , e que não tem qualidade e durabilidade de um Citizen.
