I recently lost a back to my favorite earrings, so I'm wearing these right now for the backs. Now I realize that they are much more comfortable than the metal ones. I don't think I'm going to get new metal backs for these earrings. There are different sizes. I like the bigger ones, because they are easier to work with. There can be slight variance in how tightly they fit. If you try a back and it's a bit loose, try another one. The earrings I'm wearing have very thin posts, but I was able to find a backs that fit them quite snugly. I just got them, so I can't tell you how durable they are. But this is a lot for a low price.
