Green People Irritated Scalp Shampoo, 200ml

Initially this didn't seem to work and my scalp appeared to get worse. I was cursing it and wishing I hadn't stopped using the chemical based dandruff shampoo. I wanted to give it chance though and knew that persevering and giving it much longer would give it a fair test, plus it was expensive and I didn't just want to bin it. Sure enough after a couple of months (yes months!) it has started to pay off. It hasn't got rid of the dandruff completely but now it's down to a very small penny size patch, I don't have flakes or red patches anymore and my scalp is generally not itchy anymore either. I'm really pleased with it and I'll be buying more (sooner than expected as I've just gone and left it 230 miles away down in Cornwall after my holiday!). I've read the recent reviews today while coming to purchase and it seems some people have given up too quickly.

My scalp and hair feel good after using this, it's quite condensed so only need a little, I love it!!

One of the best shampoos I’ve used that I always go back to. I have very oily and itchy scalp so this helps me so much. Also makes my hair shiny and soft too :)

I love this shampoo, and the reason i've given it 4 stars even though it didn't help with my flaky scalp (caused by using "normal" shampoos full of chemicals) is because it's so gentle and leaves my hair feeling so soft. I found that Jason Dandruff shampoo actually managed to get rid of my flaky scalp, so now I just use this as my normal shampoo. Its also concentrated it also lasts ages!

This shampoo is aimed for oily hair and it's sulphate and paraben free. I have tried macadamia oil rejuvenating shampoo and that sucks! (it weighed my hair down and made it a lot greasier faster bad for oily hair. I have also used head and shoulders classic but eventually A LOT of hair started falling out and irritating my scalp and I really wanted a change for the better and opted for this shampoo.First impressions: not a fan of the smell almost like hair dye it's probably just me/ a little goes a long way/ when I started to use it, it didn't "foam up" which I had suspected would happen and as I was rubbing the product it didn't... feel smooth? I can't explain it, it was just a different texture than any other shampoo that I've used before, so I thought oh no this isn't working and I just wasted £9.00!So like usual I conditioned using Essentials hair mask(yellow)and blow dyed it and my hair felt...... really nice? no more sexy and light yes that's strange, but my hair wasn't weighed down and felt really good. no dandruff, no greasy feeling just clean.the weather is getting a bit hotter now and I don't find my scalp getting oilier which is a bonus.Overall would I recommend it for oily hair YES! defiantly money well spent.

Having tried many shampoos from 30 pounds per bottle to 2 pound deals this shampoo is very poor value for money considering its claims. It says only a little goes a long way but actually it is difficult to shampoo into the hair so you end up using a lot. It has this strange texture and I personally find even if I use a little bit like they recommended it severely dries my hair. I tried this for a month or so like some reviewers recommended but what I still find that it did not work for me. I had issues in the past when using shampoos of dry and itchy scalp, this one was meant to help such issues so I decided to try it but it made my hair even more itchy than before, made it very dry straight after washing. I wouldn't recommend even if it claims to be all natural.

Wasnt sure, bit pricey, but have not regretted buying it. Took a few weeks to get rid of all the crap id used on my hair of the years and i started to use the conditioner of the same brand, and its really good. Hair is cleaner for longer, washing every 3or 4 days instead of every 2 or 3 days, and just feels great!

I had a horribly itchy scalp. This shampoo has really stopped that. The only thing for me is that I do not have an oily scalp so the shampoo is a little drying.

Consistency and smell are really good, it really enhances the quality of your hair during the time.

I love this shampoo. I bought it and the partner conditioner when I started experiencing very dry, itchy scalp, after a lifetime of normalcy (I'm 60). Nothing "off the self" seemed to help. In fact, most aggravate my condition. This product kept popping up during my research for solutions so I decided to give to go. My hair length is just below the ears and rather thick. I use barely a "pinky nail" each time I wash my hair, which is pretty much every day. After 4 months, I still have more than 1/2 a bottle left. A little goes a very long way (even says so right on the bottle). My scalp is calm, my hair is soft, and it smells pleasantly of lavender for a good long time after I step out of the shower.
