i called costumer support and talked to a great rep by the name Charlie K, and he spent over an hour with me and got all my concerns addressed and very satisfying.

This DVR works well with my Amcrest cameras. I had no issues connecting them to the system. The DVR is really ideal for a business or commercial setting with the large number of channels available. It would have been nice to have some kind of hard drive included, but not a deal breaker. It is capable of holding up to 10TB which is nice. The app is not as good as other security system apps I have used, but it works as it should. Overall, this DVR has a large capacity for cameras and memory and the app works decently.

I'm a business owner and even though I'm fortunate to have decent employees I still like to know what is going on when I'm out of town. And since I spend a lot of time out of town I like to be able to check in from Europe or the Canadian Rockies or wherever I might be at the moment. Not long ago I set up an extensive array of security cameras at both my home and office. This might have been overkill since both locations are in arguably the safest, most quiet and uneventful neighborhoods on the planet. Nothing remotely urgent has happened at either place in years but better safe than sorry.This tool is essential for managing a multi-cam setup and particularly keeping tabs on things when you're on the other side of the world. It was a breeze to set up but if you're not the kind of person who sets up elaborate security systems for the fun of it you might want to contact a professional. Once you're set up there's so many cool things you can do I don't even know where to start. It has face detection, face recognition, can distinguish between human and motor vehicle shapes, etc. etc. etc. The accompanying app lets you watch live, search video, etc. The video quality and audio is excellent. This might be overkill for a home user but if you've got a somewhat elaborate setup this is essential. Highly recommended!

I got this as I have several cameras from Amcrest. This DVR is easy to setup. I love the face detection and recognition feature. Using it with a 8TB hard disk for longer recordings.

Its doing its job and working ad expected. Been running this for over a month no issues. Worth the price. And an upgrade to my security system

I grabbed this system for the price (HDD not included) and the expansion - 32 channels. I have used Amcrest, but only with Single setup - In home PTZ cameras.I am not very impressed with the ease of use, software layout and setup in general with this DVR. The app is clunky, buggy, slow and not very well laid out in comparison to the LTS systems I'm used to. It takes forever to restart, boot up.I probably won't be keeping this DVR - therefore I don't feel I can recommend it.

I like this Amcrest 32CH DVR security camera system is a great DVR for your Amcrest Analog Cameras and I also like all the things I can do with it like face recognition and face detection and it very versatile and it supports HDCVI and AHD/TVI/CVBS analog cameras. I bought 8 Amcrest camera and I had them installed with the Amcrest DVR System and it works fine .
