Adhesive Patches Compatible with Dexcom G7 & Stelo Waterproof & Sweatproof

These are a material similar to tegaderm. It takes a fair amount of skill to get them on without a wrinkle. But once they're on, they're not going anywhere.

These work well and are fairly easy to apply once you get the hang of it. Previously I used SkinTac to make sure my sensor didn't come off, but I like these over patches a lot more because they don't rip my skin when I remove them. I've also started using them to cover my Omnipod.

I am writing to provide important feedback regarding your KURUYO brand waterproof adhesive patches, which I use for CGM sensor protection. I have purchased this product on two separate occasions, and my experience has been notably inconsistent. My initial order of your patches performed exceptionally well. They adhered securely and reliably protected my CGM sensor for the entire 10-day wear period, providing the robust and effective solution I had hoped for. This positive experience led me to reorder the product with confidence. However, the patches from my second purchase have unfortunately exhibited significant issues with adhesion. Despite careful application, these patches fail to remain in place for any reasonable duration. Even minimal friction, such as contact from clothing, causes them to lift, peel, or detach almost immediately, rendering them completely ineffective at providing sensor protection. It is important to note that this poor adhesion occurs without dislodging the underlying CGM sensor itself. To clarify, this appears to be an issue inherent to the product's adhesive rather than my skin preparation or application technique. I have observed that these patches struggle to adhere effectively not only to my skin but also to the adhesive ring overlay provided by the sensor manufacturer, which typically offers a very reliable surface. This observation strongly suggests that the problem is not related to individual skin conditions (e.g., dryness or moisture) but rather a deficiency in the adhesive formulation of this particular batch of patches. I attempted to locate a batch number or any other unique identifier on the packaging of the problematic patches to assist with your investigation, but unfortunately, I could not find any distinct markings on either package that would differentiate them. Both purchases were made via Amazon. My primary concern is that there may have been a change in the adhesive formula or a quality control issue affecting a specific production batch. Given my initial highly positive experience, I sincerely hope this is an isolated incident. I rely heavily on these patches for effective and reliable sensor protection, and I would be hesitant to continue purchasing them if this inconsistency in adhesion quality persists. Could you please provide some insight into this matter? I would appreciate understanding if there have been any known changes to the product or reported issues with recent batches, and what steps might be taken to address this significant concern. Seems to seal the Dexcom unit surrounding better than what comes with it, the material is like the waterproof Band-Aids you find. 1 star knocked off for NOT having any instructions and my husband thought the blue stripe was a design that is noticeable and the hard plastic was not a good feeling. I looked for any instructions on the package or inside. Turns out asking Ai on here, you have to pull off the top, in 2 pieces after sticking. Not easy to find an edge to separate nor the blue strip area on top. Instructions would of been nice!

In the 1st pic, this product is OVER the adhesive patch that comes with the Dexcom 7, and you can see it's bigger-it will prevent the edges from raising up. I've been reading about how difficult it is to put this on. I wear my dexcom on the side of my arm-my Dr is fine with it. It's more comfortable for me. In the 3rd photo, pull off the back, bottom part-not where the blue strip is and not where that small quarter moon is and place that around the G7. THEN remove the small moon, smooth it around, then peel the clear pieces with the blue strip. Works as well that way as the one included with the Dexcrom. I can also change it if needed-so far I haven't had to....but with "just" the one that came with the Dexcrom I was panicking by day 8 (which is why it's on the side of my arm so I'm not stressing). No clue why, my body dissolves the glue (my body also ate a surgical pin from rotator cuff repair LOL my 2nd one is plastic and my body just healed over the pieces. I'm special that way LOL can't wear artificial nails either, my body eats the glue! Even eats nail polish! No girly stuff for me *sigh*) BUT this product IS worth the $15, it IS worth at least trying, and experimenting with, and hopefully you will find it useful as well!!!

A little big but works well. I swim in a pool 2to3 days a week and they hold well

*****UPDATE 082223***** The company did reach out and offer me a full refund after seeing the review. They didn't have to do that, so I am impressed that they reached out to me. I added the star for their customer service. I am still not sure why I had the reaction to the product that I did, I am too afraid to try using them again, but I don't feel that the company is at fault for that. It was the adhesion factor that was the most disappointing thing about the patches, and what I based my review on. I got these to attempt to keep my G7 sensor on my arm, they kept falling off due to exertion and sweating. The first one I used didn't make it past day 2, between working in the yard and sweating and three showers, it practically fell off. It didn't even remove the sensor when I changed it, the adhesive had degraded that much. The second one was used in conjunction with Skin-tac after a recommendation by Dexcom. That's where the trouble began. I used the Skin-tac under the sensor and just about 1/4 inch around the sensor . There wasn't any of the Skin-tac under the other bandage, just under the sensor. With in a matter of 6 hours, there was an intense itching happening and I scratched around the bandage until I was raw. By the next day, I couldn't take it anymore. I pulled the bandage off and skin came with it, and the ENTIRE area covered by the bandage was blistered like it had been burned. Those blisters opened up and the whole area started to ooze like a regular burn. I am diabetic, and that kind of a wound can be devastating. And I couldn't even cover it with another bandage because a) I didn't have one large enough to cover the wound and b) I didn't want to aggravate the area anymore. So basically, I let it ooze until it sealed itself up. It still itches and it's all I can do not to dig at it. I am not allergic to any latex or adhesive product as far as I know, I have tried to attach pictures, but for some reason, the site won't accept them. If I can figure out how to get them in the right format, I will post them, but trust me, they are pretty gnarly looking! Think second degree sunburn. I don't know if it happened because I did sweat and it got trapped under the bandage, but it was almost like some sort of chemical reaction to cause the blisters like it did. I most certainly won't be trying them again. I'd return them but I tossed the original packaging thinking that my sensor problems were solved. {sigh}

These work well! They keep the sensor from fulling my hair out everyday. Very thankful!

Gutes Pflaster, wenns mal abgeht, kann man es komplett vorsichtig entfernen, ohne das Pflaster vom Sensor mit abzumachen und neu anbringen!

Das Pflaster ist ohne Hilfe kaum anzulegen. Es ist sehr fummelig, weil die Fläche, die für die Finger noch mit dem Schutz verbleibt, viel zu klein ist. Die Klebefläche lässt sich kaum ohne Falten und der Sensor-Ausschnitt auch nur schlecht über den Sensor platzieren. Die Folie ist sehr dünn und durch die Statische Anziehung schnell falsch platziert. Leider hält sie auch nicht besonders lange. Ich muss nach kurzer Zeit die sich lösenden Ränder mit der Nagelschere abschneiden, damit ich ein weiteres Pflaster darüber kleben kann. Zu guter letzt reagiere ich auf Dias Pflaster allergisch - obwohl ich sonst fast nie Problem mit Pflastern habe. Ganz klar KEINE Kaufempfehlung!!
