I've had Costa, (SUCK!) Ray Ban, (Great!) Revo's (Suck!) That's been 7 or 8 years ago before Ray Ban bought them, maybe better now. All these lenses were great. But frames were always an issue. Crack,flake,peal,gaps,warp...etc. Had MJ glass lens Kahuna for years broke a lens sent them off $40 later new glasses. 2 weeks later lost them to a wave at Tybee Is Ga. Started looking and saw the MJ Ho'okuipa readers. First I bought in the gray lens, Awesome....just dark in dim light. I know, no s*** right. Anyway I'm in and out of buildings allot....service industry. Came back to amazon got 2nd pair in the Maui ht. Wow! Now I can see inside,read, work, etc and never miss a beat. The ht is an amber color and really make things bright! Dark pair for Tybee, HT for all else. LOVE! and so will you! See you at the beach! BTW I post very few reviews. Maui deserves this one.

Although the sun-glasses appear inexpensive, I keep hearing it's the lens quality you're paying for with Maui Jim. One complaint... 4 star rate... The nose pads are not adjustable as well as the stems are not adjustable (unless you have to heat them up and bent them). These are the readers (2.0) and I'm sooo glad they are. I do not have problems going down stairs but someone else I know does. I can see ahead on the road and see the dash just fine. Someone else may need a lighter reader magnification, but 2.0 was perfect for me. Several ppl gave them a high appearance score. Several ppl...
