Well made, comfortable, PERFECT
This belt is PERFECT! I'm not really one to write reviews but I think this belt warrants one. First things first. The belt looks great! The stitching is phenomenal and it feels incredibly sturdy. The buckle is simple and the wethered brass look sets off the rustic brown leather. The keeper loop is only about an inch and a half away from the buckle so bending a 1/4" thick, steel cored strip of leather through it was just a tad cumbersome the first few times but that's not really a complaint as I didn't expect the belt to be super pliable anyway. It fit exactly as expected which is nice, plenty of holes for growing or preferably shrinking waists. I bought this belt to replace a worn out "tactical" belt that was only 2 years old and right off the get I could tell I should have purchased this belt back then. I'm also pleasantly unprinted that, for its thickness and rigidity the belt is extremely comfortable. I am an electrician by trade and I worried it was going to dig into my gut or rub my little muffin top raw but I honestly forget it's even on. It's really that comfy. I walked around with glock 26 with a kydex iwb holster for a few hours and there is absolutely zero sag. Even at work (no firearm) with my small tool catch, my leatherman surge and a Milwaukee 18v impact dangling from it there was no sag so I give this bad boy 5 stars and I don't foresee me changing the rating.

Good sturdy belt
I purchased this belt in 2020 and am writing this review in 2023. This belt is my work/outdoors/cc belt. I absolutely love this belt and if I am wearing anything but shorts is my first go to. So far it has survived multiple trips in the backwoods of CO, getting on and off horses, getting tossed of said horses, and is still nice enough to match my brown dress shoes. The steel core and the leather hold my cc in place while out and about and also hold my very heavy backwoods OWB rig and pistol just fine. I would recommend this belt to anyone looking for a good sturdy tank like belt.

Sturdy!
Make no mistake, this isn't your run of the mill belt. I work industrial maintenance and have an 8 lb pouch I carry on my belt. Usually I use a leather Walmart belt, but I was getting tired of belt sag and blown out buckle holes. And so the search began! I read a review on this belt from an electrician who said he couldn't even tell his drill was hanging on this belt, so I had to give it to a try. When this thing showed up, I instantly knew from it's thickness this was the right belt for me! It's thick and stiff as heck. Got to work this morning, strapped on my holster, and sure enough I couldn't tell it was there. No belt sag at all. My mind was blown!! Ignore the price, buy this belt if you have ANYTHING you holster.

Heavy and Heavy Duty... Love it.
Tow Truck Operator by trade. Got this belt looking for durability and longevity. This belt is phenomenal. The steel core make it hold up to and abuse your tools can dish. Daily Carry tool and equipment. Not cumbersome. Very comfortable, and very rigid..

Better than described
When measuring. measure from fold in belt (where buckle attaches permanently to the belt) to the preferred hole used ( minus 1"), NOT from buckle clasp to hole used, I use an offset buckle, and the belt was almost to small for me to use with the provided buckle. Other than that the belt is exactly if not better than described. Rigid enough to support any of my pistols along with 2 spare mag pouches, flashlight, and utility tool. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Repeat customer for my favorite reasons.
Extra thick leather! Gonna last. This is my second belt from Bullhide Belts and the first one is still going strong after 4 years. Quality leather really makes a difference! Why a new one? Lost some weight. Now I can keep the old one for yard work and give it time to dry. If you are a one (or now two) belt person looking for something to last years then take a look at this USA made product from a small family business!

Not the worst out there, but it ain't good
The leather is very cheap and flexible so that you are only relying on the 3/4 metal strip inside. After 6 months it's like you are wearing a just a 3/4 wide belt to support you CCW. That might could be just OK for carrying from the 3-6 o'clock position but AIWB out of the question. In the tounge it's no more rigid than a cheap dollar store belt.

Excellent quality belts!
For most of my life, I refused to pay the prices for good quality belts, figuring I could replace cheap belts several times for that money. After owning 2 Bullhide steel-core belts for a couple of years, I realized the error of my ways! These belts are amazing quality, and they also look great. After losing a significant amount of weight recently, I didn't hesitate a second to order 3 new ones. Give them a try - you won't be sorry.
