Perfect storage!!
I bought 2 of these 20 cube storage organizers. They are super easy to put together, lightweight and easy to adjust for various reasons. I ended up making 3 separate units out of the 2 sets. They are great for books, photo albums, shoes, odds and ends. Each cube can hold 30lbs. And you can adjust the height to what you need. I have one that is standing with 4 shelves up and 3 across, and the other 2 are 3x3. Also you can use the top to hold plants or whatever. The only thing I will say is that you want to make sure to fully connect the pieces so it doesn’t feel off balance. It comes with a little hammer…trust the process and use it lol. 😝

Sturdy unit
This shelving worked perfectly in my space. Having multiple configurations was good. It is solid and sturdy. Assembly was easy and quick.

Mavivegue 12 & 18 Cube Storage Organizer Review
After purchasing both the 12-cube and 18-cube sets for different rooms in my home, I’ve had a solid opportunity to test out the Mavivegue DIY Bookcase in real-world use. Here’s a breakdown of my experience: Assembly Putting these units together is fairly straightforward, though a bit time-consuming. Each piece clicks into place with relative ease, and the instructions are clear enough for a DIY beginner. That said, patience is key—the process takes time, especially with the larger 18-cube version. Build Quality Once assembled, the bookcases feel surprisingly sturdy. The metal poles add a reassuring level of support and structure, especially compared to similar cube organizers made of plastic or thinner materials. I’ve placed heavier items inside and on top of the units without any sagging or instability. While it’s not made for excessive weight, it certainly outperforms many other modular storage systems in this category. Design & Practicality The minimalist black cubicle design fits in well with most modern decor styles. Whether in a bedroom, living room, office, or closet, it adds a neat, organized look to any space. The modular nature of the cubes also offers flexibility—you can customize the layout a bit depending on your needs. Things to Note One thing to keep in mind: once it’s built, don’t expect to move it around like a solid wood shelf. If you do need to relocate it, make sure to grab it from both ends. Otherwise, there’s a risk of the connections loosening or coming apart, especially if it’s already filled with items. Overall Impression Overall, I’m pleased with the Mavivegue Bookcase. It’s an affordable and stylish storage solution that holds up better than expected. As long as you’re okay with taking your time during assembly and being cautious when moving it, it’s a solid addition to any room. Rating: 4.5 out of 5

Can't beat it for the price!
For the price, these shelves are amazing! It took a little while to build it, but again, for the price it was well worth the hour or so of building time. It's pretty cool that you can customize the shape, we decided on a slope like 4-3-2-1. It is very lightweight so you really have to anchor it to the wall. It came with the anchor though and that was simple enough so no worries there. We aren't using it for anything super heavy, but it seems very sturdy even though it's lightweight. The shelves themselves are not perfectly flat, there are 4 metal rods evenly spaced with a square of fabric pulled tightly over them. Again, at this price, I will deal with that no problem. For larger items it's fine, some smaller things might be wanting to fall over since it's not perfectly flat. There are ways to work around it, just thought it should be known before purchase. Overall I'm super happy with it. Looks very nice in the room.

Save your money! Missing parts
Mavivegue Book Shelf, 12 Cube Storage Organizer: Where do I begin with this product? I looked at the reviews and saw that there were mixed opinions on sturdiness but I figured I would give it a shot for the price. i had an issue earlier this month with a water leak in the house and my old bookshelf received water damage and became unsafe in general so i desperately needed a new bookshelf. I stumbled upon this product and thought it would be perfect. I'd be able to DIY it to fit my wall and it would be able to hold more stuff, Mainly my painting supplies and books. Boy was I wrong! Firstly, the product arrived in a medium size box and everything was wrapped together with rubber bands on the inside. It did come with instructions and a list of pieces. Once I unboxed everything and started to put it together, well that was when the fun began. It comes with this little wooden hammer to use to pound everything in. I also used a pair of work gloves when putting together because the metal poles are SHARP and will slice open your skin in a heartbeat. Some of the poles were bent so I needed to bend them back into shape and didn't want to risk an injury. About halfway through installing the bookshelf I noticed that I was missing assembly parts! 4 of the 30cm metal poles, 2 of the black top and bottom joint pieces that the poles lock into, and the anti tip package that was said to come with the product. I managed to put it together into one of the other shapes that it suggests on the instruction but I am not pleased with the way it looks. Secondly, if i had been sent the anti tip kit in this product i imagine it would be sturdier but as of right now just walking around on the floor ( i live in a Mobile home) and you can see the product shift. It looked even more unstable than my original bookshelf, just putting product on it and the whole thing shifts and moves around. I ended up doing what I normally do to my Christmas tree to this ( Nail in wall, and fishing line tied to it to secure it better or at least prevent a complete tip over) overall i don't think i will be buying this product again. I understand that issues happen during productions and missing items happen but $30 for an accident waiting to happen is not worth it. Honestly once I find a new bookshelf I'll probably just trash this one.

Decent Quality, Great Price, Misleading Instructions
I got this book shelf to use as a board game shelf with some fabric bin storage on the bottom level. Assembly was fairly simple, and while light, the shelving seemed relatively stable. I definitely wouldn't put anything particularly heavy on it, but it seems stable enough for my uses. The look of the shelf is actually really good, especially in all black, and because I measured the space it was going into first, I knew that it would fit in the spot I'd picked. With the 12 cube option, I chose to follow the instructions for the 2 wide x 5 high configuration of shelves. Unfortunately, after following the instructions up 4 levels, I realized I would be short 2 of the single side (A) pieces to actually make that design. The design that they feature on the back of the instructions for Assembly Method 2 is not possible to make with the pieces that I received, which feels a little disappointing. The instructions even list how many extra pieces I should have with my current setup for building using this method, but it doesn't state that you wont have enough of the other pieces. This was the configuration I'd bought the shelving pieces for in the first place, so not being able to create it with the parts that it said I could was annoying. I had to substitute 2 of the side pieces for Part B pieces, which are much wider than Part A, and it causes the upper metal pipes to bow outward slightly, resulting in a less stable, and much less visually appealing design. It feels like the additional assembly methods on the back are quite misleading, even with the notice about material amounts (that is unclear itself) listed on the top of the page. If the assembly methods on the back were all possible with the included components, this would be a much more positive review, but unfortunately, I can't give that. Despite the trouble with the components, the rest of the shelving structure is relatively stable (can be wobbled if you push on the sides), and it works well enough. That's my rating for these shelves: Good enough for the price.

Love these! 🤩
Lol 🙄 People are sto supid. I've received several of these and personally haven't had any pieces missing. It wouldn't surprise me if that happens occasionally though. But it doesn't belong here in the reviews, unless it's an aside. It belongs in a message to the seller to see if they will send you the missing parts or a return to Amazon for either replacement or refund. I wouldn't be surprised if people are just trying to assemble it in a configuration it wasn't meant to be assembled and thus don't have all the pieces that they *want*. More likely I'd expect QC issues with the stitching in the fabric or the tubes being bent, smashed, or dented, but haven't experienced any of that either. Sometimes there's an issue with the plastic not being molded perfectly, but so far nothing that has prevented me from being able to complete assembly. (I got "stabbed" by the bottom once or twice though.) Still I do love these — moreso when they're marked down in price. When they are discounted, I can get a lot of storage for what I consider a fair price. I only get the ones like this, where the rods go into solid pieces. I've never gotten the "tinker toy" ones, that look like they're "hub and spoke", because I've seen too many people complain about issues with them that I don't have with this kind. They don't make good bookshelves because books are heavy. They're not really built for display, because the "shelf" is not perfectly flat — it's a piece of fabric stretched over 4 hollow metal tubes. You *could* use a flat piece of light wood or rigid cardboard over that to make it perfectly flat if you needed to. This set came with a lightweight wooden mallet which was much safer to use than putting all my weight on them to push the rods into the plastic brackets. More than once I was afraid I bent the rods doing that. With the mallet, it would actually be hard to accidentally bend the metal but it isn't hard to get the pieces to fit together with it. I don't even remember what the assembly instructions say to do because it's been so long since I've looked at them and I've probably assembled a half dozen of them without looking at the instructions now lol. I have found it easier for me to assemble the horizontal "bottoms" then place all the vertical rods in the brackets then place a row of bottoms on top of that. Then tap on those until all the vertical rods are fit right. Then repeat until finishing the bottoms that are the top lol. Again the mallet comes in handy because it's almost a guarantee that I wouldn't be able to direct the force perfectly to not bend up several rods trying to assemble it that way with those long pieces. Just make sure that the bracket you're working on is complete, with all the pieces snug, before you start the next one, because it's a pain when you find out you have loose-fitting rods in a bracket after you've done a couple more. I just pull them all apart and redo them; it's usually easier to redo than try to fix. Once you have them snug, you can usually use your body weight to check, but just be careful in case you're wrong lol. THOSE TUBES WILL BEND but you can prevent damaging them as long as you're careful. I have noticed, depending on the brand/manufacturer, the sizes can vary slightly. The size is always consistent across a brand. But in case it matters to you — because you're using fabric boxes, plastic bins, or something else in the cubbies for storage — you may want to pay attention to the L×W×H of the individual cubes. Usually the dimensions for the finished organizer are easier to find, which is useful to determine if it will fit where you want to put it.

Affordable & sturdy to store clothing
I know this is marketed as a bookshelf, but I actually bought it for my closet—and it works perfectly! It’s surprisingly sturdy, and the support bars on the bottom hold my folded clothes really well. I noticed some reviews saying it was difficult and time-consuming to assemble, but that wasn’t my experience at all. It was very easy to put together. My kids and I even turned it into a fun little project, and we had it assembled without any issues. One thing I really like is that you can customize the height to fit your space. My closet isn’t very tall, so I adjusted it to suit my needs, and it fits perfectly. If you’re looking for an affordable shelving unit, don’t overlook this as a closet organizer. It’s sturdy, versatile, and a great value. I’m so happy with it that I’ll be buying another one for my other closet!

Exceeded expectations
This was way better than expected. It is large, sturdy and looks great. I found it annoying to put together but it was worth it. They included extra pieces, which I really appreciated. I love how affordable it was. I definitely recommend this shelf.

Good product for what you pay.
Not the most sturdiest thing in the world but definitely a good product for what you pay. Wasnt sure when I got it if it was going to be strong enough for books but so far so good. Takes a while to assemble, be sure to double check instructions, but a great option if you are looking for some organization options that are completely affordable. Check size before ordering, was bigger than I expected. Totally worth it.
