Amethyst Berry is SO good!
Such a nice find! I love the Republic of Tea brand and have tried quite a few flavors throughout the years. This Amethyst Berry is one of the best I’ve tasted, and the color is so pretty. I also absolutely love the tribute to Queen Charlotte. I originally purchased simply because I loved the aesthetic of the container, and I’m happy the tea is actually a flavor I enjoy too. With a little honey, or on its own, it’s delicious.

Tasty tea
Love this tea! If you like black tea, you'll love this! It's black tea with a little extra special flavor. Slightly floral and citrusy. Very cute Packaging and the tea bags are round, not square. Highly recommend.

I hate to say this...
I normally HATE Republic of Tea teas. Their flavors sound very alluring, but then, after purchase, you find out that they have surreptitiously added Stevia as a sweetener. I HATE Stevia - from my perspective, it is a dramatic step backward in taste of artificial sweeteners. That being said, it pains me to say that this tea is different. There are no sweeteners added. It is very flavorful. It creates an interesting blue color after steeping. It has all the elements of a delicious and welcome addition to the tea universe. Maybe the Republic of Tea will take advantage what this tea is all about to NOT add Stevia to other teas in the future. (Did I mention that I HATE Stevia?) That would be a welcome marketing tactic for people like me.

Great tea, a little on the weaker side. Have to let it sit for a bit longer.

Beautiful purple color
I’m not sure why this is called Amethyst “Berry” Tea. There are no berries listed in the ingredients and there is no berry taste. It’s a very mild citrus/herbal flavor. Not bad, but not very exciting. But the color is amazing and I would probably drink it just for that.

Wonderful citrus flavor. One of my favorite teas I’ve bought from this company. I highly recommend for a great herbal tea.
