I used it on both the Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys, and it works very well and is much faster than my old manual gage one. It's easy to read, is accurate (verified by two perfect turkeys) and it's a great value for the money. Very easy to use. It makes checking for proper cooking temperature fast and easy.

The thermometer is a good hand size, with great functionality. I love being able to extend it out or fold it up for storage purposes. The price was right on point, with a good value for the product. I have gotten it wet multiple times and have not had any issues, though granted, I did not dunk it in the soapy water either. The waterproof status is still up in the air. However, the readability is extremely clear with a option for a backlight if needed. The ease of use is good, as you just start pressing buttons until one works if your hands are full and you just need the darn thing to work for you. In that way, the functionality works great. The display size is large enough to see without squinting, making this one happy cook. There are magnets on the back, however it does not stick onto my fridge or my oven when other magnets do just fine. It might be that there's a good heft to the product, and that is why it starts sliding immediately. So far, I have been using this product for a month and it has been very responsive. There is a slight rattle inside, which I wonder about, but it has not caused any problems and functionality. I go through cooking thermometers like candy, because of the lack of battery life. Here's hoping this one lasts a bit longer than the others, but I do have to note that the battery compartment on this looks much more user friendly than other models I have used in the past. When the display starts dimming, I am much more likely to replace the battery then the other pass models I have tried. Happy cooking!

I use this thermometer to check the temperature of milk when I'm making yogurt in bulk. It works reliably well, seems accurate and is easy to read. The only tiny complaint I have is that I often inadvertently press the button that changes the display from fahrenheit (however it's spelled) to centigrade. Fortunately I just have to tap the button again to change it back.

It has a magnet to stick it to your fridge. Turns on and off by folding/unfolding the probe. Very easy to use. Has been working great for me for a few months. Very good value. Battery is still going fine.
