All of the local stores had the standard square niche, and I wasn’t quite sure that would be enough for all of my products. I needed this to work horizontally so that I could fit all of my products. I ordered this and when I got it, my contractor said it would be too big and wouldn’t look good. I didn’t care, this was more about function than design, and after all was said and done, he admitted that it came out great. We installed it off center since I was also installing frameless glass doors and made sure the niche was centered between the door and the wall. I love it.
