Yes you can, make sure your drive is formatted correctly to exFAT or FAT32 - Please consider that Mixstream Pro Go would need to analyse your music on the fly which can take about 15-20 seconds per song. We'd strongly recommend using the Engine Desktop file management software to batch analyse your music and to help you organise the music into playlists, crates and more!

Does this allow for you to record directly onto the usb in MP3

You can convert the audio file from WAV to MP3 on your computer during post-production by importing your recording into MPC Beats (free).
