This has a consistency similar to cocoa butter, but the scent is much better, it smells really good. It leaves your skin with a healthy glow and works especially well for very dry, melanated skin. I like to top it off with an oil to lock everything in, and that combination works perfectly. I’d recommend pairing it with a vanilla-scented oil for an even better finish.

This stuff is great! I was concerned it would be too hard or flaky, but it’s just right. Has great fragrance and consistency. It keeps the skin feeling great all day. The jar is a great size! Works on a “perfect head” too if you happen to have one! Iykyk!

Best Shea Butter on the market. Great for dry skin. Locks in moisture. Nice shimmer after application. Great value.

I really like this balm. It's light and not too greasy or clunky. Goes on smooth and helps with my breakouts. Has soothed my dry skin and hopefully will aid in the discoloration of my skin.

I’ve been using this product for a few years now and it’s never disappointed me. I tend to use a little too much but I usually use it after showers for whole body moisturizing so it’s fine. It hydrates my skin pretty well, leaving it super soft and smelling lovely. The scent is light and sweet and, when combined with the Kuumba Made fragrance oils I use, I leave the house smelling divine. I get compliments pretty frequently. As far as texture goes, it’s pretty solid so I find that I have to either take my time and work my fingers into the tub in order to heat up the formula, which isn’t always feasible if you’re rush, or I have to dig it out with my fingers and rub it between my hands to warm it up for easier application. This is generally what leads me to use a little too much. The formula may have changed over the years because I don’t remember it being so hard when I first started using this, but it still smells the same and hydrates almost the same. Aside from that though, I enjoy it and will keep using it.

I found this to be somewhat hard, not creamy right off. But melts in my hand to what seems almost a thinner, somewhat dryer oil. I have mixed this with other creams and used it by itself. I need to apply this twice a day to have my skin feel the way I like it to. This takes about ten to fifteen minutes to soak into my skin well enough for me to feel comfortable enough putting my slacks etc. on. I do think the price for pure shea is good. Color goes on clear on my light skin. No smell to my nose, which I like very much. I think it's good quality.

Excellent skin softening shea butter balm made with all natural ingredients and no added fillers. Product is thick yet absorbs into skin well without a greasy after-feel. Very healing for chapped skin; softens nicely.

Palmers did their thing with this formula. Me, being a highly melanated person, this glides on my skin like butter! It’s smooth and it makes my skin glow! And the scent is top tier, can’t go wrong with vanilla. It compliments all of my vanilla noted fragrances. It doesn’t leave your skin greasy feeling either, I’m buying another jar. It’s so lightweight, I recommend using it right after your shower/bath routine.

Love this product.. its heavy and solid but when you apply it your skin it melts, gives a sheen and doesnt feel greasy. Also the moisture effect lasts all day. Definitely buying this again. It worked for my sunburnt skin too, helped stop much of the after peeling. It may seem heavy but you can use it in the Dubai summer. The skin shines and non greasy in sometime.

If a lot of the expensive moisturisers are doing a great job for you, try this. It is much richer and easily absorbed.
